i feel like one of the worst things you can be for yourself is a nationalist cause like why'd you carry the burden of representing your country at all times

you already do so by existing with the heritage and culture you were raised into so why would you do overtime ? It's like suffering to feel more belonging except the belonging feeling is not based on love for your community but rather on fear that a symbol you're tied to will lose worth and so you will too
