I’ve been being more confrontational lately and it’s fucking awesome. Like I’d already been working on it, and I wouldn’t say I was a pushover, but I was definitely not as outspoken as I’d like, and wasn’t firm or honest enough to shut bullshit down fast.

In about a week, I’ve stopped an argument before it could start and received an apology (this has never happened successfully with this person), made my grandma start keeping her cats inside for the first time, and got an apology from my mother.

Idk what’s in the air making this go so well but it’s like a drug this is amazing

I asked my mother about the 4th of July thing and she apologized and said it just slipped out and she shouldn’t have brought up my struggles like that. So that was good. I’m still pretty upset over it but I just learned about this a day ago so I think that’s pretty reasonable

Apparently on July 4th, my mother dragged my brother into my uncle’s bathroom and interrogated him about whether he self harms, and announced to him that I used to do it.

Which is so incredibly not her fucking business to tell OBVIOUSLY and she also immediately proved to him that she was untrustworthy and couldn’t handle these things delicately by extension. Told my brother don’t bother ever going to her about anything like that bc it’s just not worth it, and to go to me instead.

Obviously I’d tell our parents if it seemed really necessary but our mother just can’t fucking handle herself when given that information

Merlin ate Goode’s allergy medicine so we’r eon the way to vet. HOPEFULLY he can puke it up and be fine. I’m not interested in those vet bills, I’m gonna be fucking broke

$90 for animal poison control to tell me he didn’t take enough to hurt him and to just watch for vomiting and all that 😭 it’s okay though, I’m glad I made sure. I’n glad he’s so big, probably helped

New donkey friend!! The barn owners are lovely and I can do pretty much whatever I want with her. They have a couple trails that me and Lucy are gonna spend SO much time walking through. I’m always really depressed during the summer and I’m so excited to have something to look forward to now

I hate not being able to drive myself places and especially the fact that my sister has to be brought with us. It’s embarrassing. I’m gonna show up to this stable with my mother and little sister in tow and they’ve planned to get involved with what I’ll be doing even though NOWHERE was it started they could. They’re expecting one person and I’ll have two extra coming along omfg

Spent almost $500 on bits of dead animals today (tails, rabbit furs, etc) this is awesome. I got a bag made out of an entire fox pelt. She’s so beautiful and I’m going to use and cherish her forever and ever. Also a pair of New Rocks?? I about Lost My Mind when I found them. Had to be excited on main rq I’m so hyped

The swelling in my hand is almost gone!! It still itches quite a bit but at least it isn’t overstretched sensitive skin itching on top of super painful swelling now!
