Left work 5 hours early because I got a migraine š
sometimes, i will realize, 'oh, i didn't need to prepare so much' or 'i didn't need to be so hard on myself.' these difficulties that i bring upon myself often do not make the situation better, and they just wear me down physically and mentally. i'm more productive and more authentic when i'm kinder to myself. life becomes easier, whether or not life is truly easy
I just love it when things are earnest like everyone get more earnest now
there is something within me that i would like removed

Hello, do you think that even someone without a degree can find a job in the book selling industry? Specifically in a bookstore? I do have a lot of experience with hospitality and customer service, but those are my only strengths. Would that count for something? (I do also have a passion for books, learning and reading, but I donāt expect that would be helpful at an interview?)
Hello! Most people I work with do not have degrees! Like 60% of the staff I work with are high school or college age kids. Ultimately a bookstore is a retail job & customer service experience will serve you better than anything else!! If you like to read and can recommend things itās definitely a plus but Iāve never based my hiring decisions on if someone has a degree or not
Want to leave work early but I am seemingly the only person capable of emailing information back and forth between 2 people who could just be emailing each other
