So glad that Joan made it through treatment and that these two are staying together. I got worried for a second when they showed the funeral but when I heard Joan’s voice I said, “Yes!!”

The Televekio case, I know what it is. I told him not to tell you. Why? Because I didn’t want you to feel like you had to stay. The captain said you had a lump removed a month ago and Televekio is the name of your oncologist. Look, I only told a few people. I didn’t want anyone at the 11th to worry about me. Huh. So the pathology report was positive for cancer. I’m starting chemo in a few days.

Scene that always makes me cry. I was so surprised that Joan had gotten cancer, but so glad that Gregson told Sherlock. Even more glad that Sherlock stayed to be there for Joan and help her through this, and hugged her to let her know he would be there.

While I am glad these two made up in the end, it is hard to go back and watch this scene. These were two people who had a lot of respect for each other and became divided over trying to protect the people they love.

One of my favorites moments and fits very well especially after the finale. It’s amazing how far these two have come, especially Sherlock in letting Joan into his world. Two people that love each other indeed.
