As Autumn goes on and the plants die, it reminds me of the quickly fleeting life of mortals. It makes me sad knowing that my mortal friends will grow old and eventually die. This is the reason why I typically avoid making friends with humans. Sure, I could turn them into vampires, but not all of them would be willing to become vampires. I wish all the mortal fans of my blog good luck in the ongoing season.

I wish the vampire life was as easy as Twilight. Having hazel eyes instead of red and just sparkling in the sun instead of quite literally burning to a crisp.

The amount of money I have spent on colored contacts is OBSCENE! It’s not like I can stop buying them because my eyes without them would attract too much attention.

“Why do you have red eyes?”

“You’re so pale you should get some sun.”

“Why do you have a scar on your neck that looks like a bite mark?”

“Why are your teeth so sharp?”

These are all things I got told/asked often. How am I supposed to answer/respond to this? All my years of living and I still don’t know how to respond.

I have decided to stop being so ‘formal’ in my posts, and I will start posting like a true Tumblr citizen.

I miss my days as a human. I long to feel the sun on my skin once again. I want to not have to worry about having a thirst for blood. I yearn for the days when I didn't have to hide my true self from the world. My humanity was forcefully taken from me. I was ravished and cursed to live a life of misery.
