I have recently gained an interest in seeing how vampires are depicted in media. I enjoy noticing the subtle differences between various types of vampire media. I also enjoy seeing when vampires are portrayed more accurately than they normally are.
was thinking about what show daniel would think if confronted with book daniel. like both disgust and envy at this guy who actually successfully threw away his life to the allure of vampires, never got married or had kids, stopped having an actual career, shacked up with ARMAND?? THAT GUY?? but also got all the stuff daniel wanted much earlier. however actually that's all whatever. what's really funny is can you imagine meeting your self from the universe next door and they have fucking purple eyes??
This showed up in the 'gifs' when I searched vampire. Does this mean that it's blood? Hmmm, the thought is making me quite thirsty. I may have to raid a blood bank soon.
I absolutely HATE the trope of vampires and garlic. We are not weak we can handle a plant. I don't get how people think that a simple plant used to flavor food could harm/kill us. I get that it started as a misunderstanding of someone writing that vampires were weak to garlic as in loving it but it's so annoying.
I am intrigued by the Dream SMP fandom. They are so interested in these "streamers" that play this game filled with cubes. They gain crushes on these streamers and attempt to make sexualities based on them, i.e., dreamsexual. This interests me greatly. But in my years as an old vampire, I don't understand

horrible to me that louis gave up photography bc a) my guy you need hobbies!! you don't have to be The Best you can just have fun!! also my god get a tripod and learn about reciprocity failure night shots are so attainable!! but mainly b) i bet vampire vision means you can BASICALLY see in the dark and LOUIS wouldn't have to count the large format developing trays he was using four times to make sure he put the film in the right one. now strike against this is i bet those vampire claws are not helpful for getting 35mm onto reels but idk i've never tried to do it with acrylics on
