And it was all for the best. For the both of us. Experiencing different people is life and distance is hard. Am I hurting? Maybe a little. Heartbroken, no. Why? Because knowing that she is happy makes me happy. It was a mutual agreement from what I took away from it. She told me that when you break away from someone you take a piece of them and they take a piece of you. And I’m glad she has that piece and I want her to keep it and not forget about it. Because I have hers and I know I won’t forget about it. I’ll keep it close and cherish the relationship we had. I have never loved anyone like I had loved her. I don’t know if I will again or if I will love has strongly as I did. But it’s not impossible I think. A piece of me only wants her though but who knows what may happen.
