“It's a tough call. We don't know him or the dynamics of the marriage. But I will say that your feelings matter. It's not just about him being happy. If you want to devote your marriage to making him happy, then according to him, keep loving him. But if you would like him to feel for you, just an ounce of what you feel for him it's sad to say then you might be fooling yourself. He's already said he married you because you love him.

Looking back I honestly don't believe I ever truly loved her. I did care about her. But I was wanting her to become something she wasn't. I was hoping that this girl would eventually become the woman I had been looking for and marry. Have a loving family and live peacefully together. So I ignored the obvious gap in our affection for each other even though I died a little on the inside every time I noticed the gap. I'd jump through hoops of fire just to make her smile. She'd barely lift a finger to do the same for me unless I was sick or needed help in some sort of way. I cared for her like nothing else. She cared for me as needed.

It taught me that when I love, my love has no end and it has no conditions. I believe if she had been anyone else my actions would have been the same. Whoever I end up with can always count on me to be there through the good and bad(Unless she cheats. That's my one deal breaker). I'll love her flaws and perfections. I'll take the time to learn who she is as a human being and fall for her.

But I also learned about my wants/needs.As a man, I want a woman who shows she appreciates me. I need someone who shows it through her actions, not her words. I want to feel like I matter the way they matter to me at least to obvious degrees. I want to love and need to be loved. And I will never settle for someone who doesn't love me ever again. I'm too proud and self respecting to settle like that again. My experience taught me that love and finding it takes courage and willpower. You have to be honest with yourself and be willing to get disapointed a few times before you find your ideal match. You have to be willing to reject and be rejected until you get there or you end up settling or being settled for.”
