offered to make my friend a doll monstrosity because he didn't want to spend $150 on a taxidermy chicken baby doll, so now i need to figure out how to make an absolute creature!!

been drawing this pretty girl in my sketchbook for MONTHS, and i'm planning on turning her into a hand sculpted ball jointed ooak doll :3

the reason i haven't made her yet is because i need to hand sculpt ball joints and im too tired to sculpt lately—it takes so much brain energy for some reason

she will materialize eventually i am very excited!!

i'm practicing making mini protective braids i'm so excited i think it will be so cute! not enough people make dolls with protective hairstyles they are so pretty!! i'm going to put wire through some of the braids so that i can shape the side buns just right

spent actually 3 hrs yesterday looking for my watercolour pencils so i could work on my next ooak T^T eventually found them on a random shelf behind a bunch of other stuff because they fell through a tiny crack at the back of the drawer lol

anyway i can work on my doll now!!

istg if mattel fumbles g3 elissabat i will be MAD

some people are worried because the release she's in will be carnival/circus themed, but i love the idea of a theatrical/clownish/boudoir aesthetic elissabat sm. she is already such a dramatic and fabulous character i think it would suit her so well!!

i really hope they give her a more unique face sculpt bc imo the g1 face sculpt is kinda uninspiring. i always imagine her with a kind of square-ish jaw and slightly downturned eyes. i'm also so excited to see what they do with the body sculpt!! i love the g3 body sculpts with all my heart so sure it will be good!
