[Favorite Characters 2/?] Polytheus [Mia and Me, 2011]

“My dear - if you think I steal things, then you don’t know me at all.”

This one might be a bit obscure, but the kids show Mia and Me has this naga guy in a few episodes. He’s something of a conniving merchant, but despite his reputation among the fairies, he’ll only make fair trades. He’s initially apathetic to the problems of the protagonists, but he ultimately decides to help them in their fight against evil. I love his (english) voice actor for the first season - I’ve chosen to ignore the subsequent ones. I feel like some animators had a lot of fun with him.
