“i like you. I want to be with you all day, every day. When I’m with you, I want to hug you. If I can’t see you, it feels like I might explode.” — taejoo
That “darling, I don’t want to go to England” comment is hitting real different right now
okay but what if something bad has happened so gook actually gets fired (by the dad) and then the soft scene with gook’s hair up and in a suit is when he realises he loves taejoo SO MUCH and comes back to him but this time without their master-servant relationship?? like that would be perfect
Why do they share a bed?
What happened in England?
Why do they “play house”?
Why does Tae Joo’s dad seem to allude to the depth of their relationship?
Where are Gook’s parents?
Why do they live alone?
What happened to Tae Joo’s mom?
What’s this about Japan?
How many times has Tae Joo attempted to seduce Gook at this point?
Why do they seem to already know each other’s feelings for one another despite never saying it before?
Do they just quietly plan to be in a platonic but romantically exclusive relationship with each other forever? Was this an unspoken pact?
How did this relationship even begin anyway?
I could go on much longer.
There’s too much unknown backstory.
How are we supposed to get all the answers in the final 20 minutes next week.
I am stressed.
it would do all of us good to watch series without a binary, to understand nuances and POV. Two things can be true at the same time and both characters’ feelings are valid. There’s no right or wrong side.
tbc.
We won't have a happy ending, won't we?
I know kang gook said some very hurtful things, but can we try to understand him just a little bit? God knows how many times he was hurt by tae joo, the spoiled little brat that always takes what he wants and also!! set him up with a girl like two episodes ago!! Don't get me wrong, I love tae joo and I can't really get mad at him bc he is just a disaster bi but can we really blame kang gook? He is just trying to shield his heart once again. He has probably seen tae joo jump from one girlfriend to another a million times. So how can he trust tae joo now? And don't even get me started on the shadow thing. He isn't feeling free, he isn't feeling happy. This whole situation is probably hurting him deeply.
A special thanks to Jang Eui Su for effectively stabbing me in the chest with his haunting portrayal of Kang Gook’s emotional and sexual repression and his inner turmoil that comes with being in love with Tae Joo
Ep5-6 of Where Your Eyes Linger.. though I didn't understand one word but..
God what did I watch? I need engsub.. I am stressed
The next person that says Where your eyes linger is bromance gets wrecked in the face.
Wei Ying: *whispers* Keith! Let’s tease this guys a little!
Keith: What?!
🤣🤣
Wyel better have a flashback episode that fills in the obvious backstory that’s heavily alluded to
