Embroider Update
It’s been a busy few weeks, making stock for my Etsy store, planning new framed artworks, applying for craft fairs and even moving into a great new studio space at Hazlehurst Art Studios in Runcorn. Time Lapse – Koi Fish Pendents Love watching these little fish develop across the fabric. Definitely going to make more time lapses! These little guys will be available to buy as a necklace within the next few days on my etsy shop there are other designs already available.

This is a piece I created for my mother’s 60th birthday. It’s one of my favourite photographs of the two of us and I loved mums jumper and lovely curly brown hair. I also love how the hand painted fabric works with this piece.

Well I’ve had a very civilised evening with the Runcorn Sewing Bee group. With tea, cake and even a little wooden sewing machine, it was a great session! They’ve made some great panel designs for my community embroidery quilt which I will photograph over the next day or so.

This is an old piece I did a while back from a photo I took at a brilliant event called 7″ of Snow in Runcorn. At 7″ people take it in turns to choose 5 record a become the DJ making for some great mixes. This was one of my first monochrome pieces, the fabric is hand painted on a very large piece and then crop down for the embroideries.
