Love Has No Fear

Sometimes I'm afraid to love because of the fear of not being loved back, or because of the fear that things might not go my way in the future. But Jesus loved us first and took the chance of others regecting him. And Love is not love unless you are willing to love without getting anything in return. Jesus said that we must love the way He did, & perfect love has NO fear. Loving is also a form of walking by faith. "...faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see," (Hebrews 11:1 NIV). There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. (1 John 4:18 NIV)
