This scene is iconic and it never fails to make me laugh. (but how did he not remember her? they went to a ball and danced together and everything lol)

I absolutely love the series and all the books but there’s some things I can’t stand/don’t understand.

I don’t love how in book 3 they keep getting ambushed by the brazilians and I also hate the first part of the 5th book (love the part where she shows courage but I find the whole Miss Harse ordeal boring and more annoying than anything).

I also don’t understand Amby’s change from book 5 to 6. He was so understanding and accepting of Lilly and who she was/wanted to be and then went back to the “You can’t work because it’s dangerous and you’re a woman” bullshit. Where did all the character development go?

But the thing I least like is the ending of Dangledick. It felt too easy and anticlimactic.
