And some of you may say “but they have water fountains” this is not substantial, because let me tell you a little secret: MOST AMERICAN PUBLIC SCHOOLS DON’T HAVE SAFE DRINKING WATER

You ask any american who went through a public school system, and just see how many of them didn’t trust their drinking fountains because they were deemed absolutely disgusting. 

MY VERY OWN was tainted with asbestos THE ENTIRE TIME I WAS IN SCHOOL.

what public school systems should actually do is: PROVIDE LITER SIZED WATER BOTTLES TO EVER SINGLE ONE OF THEIR STUDENTS, AND HAVE FILTERED WATER FILL UP STATIONS THROUGHOUT THE SCHOOL.

ALL SCHOOL SYSTEMS SHOULD HAVE THE WATER TESTED /MONTHLY/ TO MAKE SURE IT IS SAFE AND SUITABLE FOR THE CHILDREN WE HAVE PROMISED TO PROTECT WHILE THEY ARE GETTING AN EDUCATION

I’M SICK OF THE STATE GETTING AWAY PEDDLING POISON TO THE MOST VULNERABLE IN OUR NATION AND NO ONE SAYING OR DOING ANYTHING ABOUT IT.

WATER IS IMPORTANT EVEN IF YOU ARE 8 YEARS OLD AND TRYING TO LEARN FRACTIONS.
