okay so my next little while on this blog is going to be spent completely redoing it so activity may fluctuate and you may see a bit more ooc but bear with me lmao

gyiana is going to get a lot more activity on here asap due to rise of iron! she will be the main oc on this blog to have partaken in the story’s events, while the other two have done so to a slightly lesser extent.

rising light profile: eris morn

with the wings of a green catbird (and the fleeting stamina to match), eris morn usually stays perched in high places and gracefully swoops down to wherever she wants to go - or at least she did, before her time in the hellmouth. whatever happened to her on the moon all but ruined her wings (or so it seemed upon her return). twisted, broken, featherless, and pale, it was thought that eris’ wings might have needed to be amputated for her own health, but ikora rey insisted that with proper rehabilitation, eris could at least fledge again, if not make a full comeback.

after harrowing years of recovery with ikora’s gentle guidance, eris’ wings did fledge again, though it took several molts for the feathers to grow back properly. even now, her feathers are often crooked and askew, as though constantly ruffled; as long as they are not hurting her, there is no need to correct their growth patterns, according to ikora. they are also a much darker color than the average catbird’s, only barely green anymore.

she currently uses them to “see” by holding them outstretched on either side to keep herself from bumping into things; whether she will ever be able to fly again remains to be seen.

rising light profile: commander zavala

as an eastern bluebird, zavala’s wings are too short and stout to sustain him in flight for long periods of time. because of this, he relies on diving from high perches and brief bursts of flapping motions to propel him across short distances quickly. this method of flight lends itself well to ambushing and closing gaps between (subsequently surprised) enemies for close quarters combat, a titan specialty.

hey guys!! checking in to give yall some updates abt whats going on with me, and maybe reblog some things ive been working on here.

i just got a new laptop! im typing from it right now!! this is huge for me because my laptop always limited what i was able to do with it, so this one should allow me to do more things and be more places at once!!

i also got a new skype recently bc my old one was hacked. :( if you want my skype name, send me an ask or a message!! especially if we’re friends or have been out of touch lately, let’s reconnect!!

i have been working more on the rising light au! i have been making more content and writing more for it, creating worldbuilding, etc! i’ll post some of my recent work on it here shortly!!

as for the state of this blog and these characters, theyre still on a creative hiatus for now, though im thinking about them more and more recently, so if i can get up the time and motivation to come back here amidst everything that is going on in my life rn, i’ll let you all know and we’ll go from there!!
