Today would make my cat Liberty 18 years old however she is in heaven. I still miss her everyday and it makes me sad she isn't here with me. In honor of her I made a memorial picture for her. Also the picture is the flowers I put on her grave today.
This is where my baby rests now... in our back yard.
This is a song that has always meant something to me when it came to her.
So I came upon this one by accident, was just scanning through anime's and won't lie the blonde boy...Kai you see in the picture caught my attention. Anyone who reads my tumblr knows sometimes its the pretty boys that catch my attention or the artwork in how they are drawn. This is one of those anime's that pays off though. It might be a slow burn but in the end you get to see the couple get together. I don't know about others but it drives me crazy if by the end of the show no one has confessed love, kissed or something after watching the slow burn through the whole show. Its even worse when some shows don't even have another season after. Not gonna name any -coughs- Sugar Apple Fairy Tale -coughs-. Anyways moving on this anime review is about Honey Lemon Soda so lets dive right in.
Uka doesn't stand out right away but once Kai comes into the picture you will get to see her blooming like a flower. He pushes her to be better and she accepts him for who he already is. They really are perfect for each other.
She looks like a cute little mouse especially with those blushy cheeks next to him. Their eyes two are so close in color, guess that tells you what their kids will have. However his natural color of hair is black so kids would have black hair anyways.
They really are good together he needs someone to protect and she needs protecting. She is like a lil quiet mouse and he pulls her out to do more for herself to be more. She pulls him out of what seems like he is never happy and he smiles with her. Spending time together even when he is asleep and vulnerable these are lil moments that makes these two precious.
OMG then when he fell asleep on the bus and didn't just fall asleep but he leaned into her. He looked so precious I wanted to scream.
He was always sleeping in class but when you find out its cause he works his ass off at night it is totally understandable. Then the moment he finds out her name people pick on her with is stone then he makes this comment to her after school and I couldn't stop smiling. Like dude did you really just call her a precious gemstone......like WHAT?!? So cute, so sweet and hit my hopeless romantic meter.
The way he comes to Uka side and protects her, tells her if she needs help all she has to do is ask. I love the fact he is such a protective guy even before he had feelings for her. The way he is with her and no other is sweet right from the start. His obsession with a drink and his hair being the color of it is kinda cute as well. Even though honey lemon soda doesn't sound like it would taste good to me.
The two scenes in the show when Kai just leans in and kisses her. First was the confession when she admitted she loved him and it didn't take long for him to seal that confession with a kiss. Sadly she got all weird the next day too scared that he didn't mean it so she avoided him. However later on he kisses her again after telling her he loves her too. It was an emotional pay off that left me giddy inside. If you haven't watched this anime I recommend putting it on your to do list it is so worth it. I will admit I think its one that is forgettable as time goes on but for a slice of life/shoujo anime it really is wholesome and makes you giddy watching these two together.

Viktor knew what he was doing now, this wasn't an act to give her what she needed but also it was him giving into his desire and love for a woman he believed he would never have due to status. He took his ungloved hand caressing the side of her face, his soft whisper only loud enough for her to hear. "I have loved you since the moment I first saw your smile. You have no idea how much it has broke me knowing I would one day I would lose you, but I loved you anyways. To hear your heart speaking the same language mine has for so long, I would give you anything." His lips captured hers again as he wiped the rest of her tears from her eyes. His eyes closed as he truly breathed her in, this was their night and he couldn't deny himself or her wishes anymore. Although she was to be untouched on her day of marriage they couldn't hold back the love that bloomed between them everything else didn't matter.
His ungloved hand slid down to her shoulders where he was once covering her up when her skin was bare, this time he slowly pushed it off her shoulder. He leaned down kissing her soft skin like she was so fragile while still breathing her skin in. The soft smell of scented soap as his lips touched gently as his lips trailed up her neck. Soft little moans escaped her lips as he drowned in her. Every part of his restraint now gone, he was with the woman he loved and this was their moment to cherish it. He slipped her night dress over her head revealing her soft plush breasts, his words frozen, his heart beating so hard against his rib cage now. His breath lost in his throat, his mind in riddles, she was the most gorgeous woman he had ever laid eyes on and to see her like this so vulnerable he was sure he fell in love with her even more, if that was possible.
He reached down caressing her breasts, listening to every soft coo and whimper coming from her lips. He lifted her off the floor and walked her over to the bed laying her back on the soft blankets as he started to slowly unbutton his shirt. Time felt like it stopped in this moment, but it was a moment that was in slow motion savoring the love shared between two people so deeply in a world that would just not understand. After he stepped out of the last of his clothes it wasn't hard to know how excited every part of him was to be close to her. He leaned towards her on the bed slowly and gently sliding her panties off, the last material piece between them, and their love making. He kissed her lips as his weight pressed against her smaller frame, while lost in the kisses he pushed himself inside of her. With muffles into his mouth the pain that eventually faded as pleasure took over. Their bodies moving slowly together lost in the passionate kisses as they made love for the very first time. As they reached the peak of their love making they both shaking in each others arms as they expressed every intense moment with each other. As he spilled into her, the hungry kiss that left them both shivering as his breath hitched against her lips.
A vulnerable, tender moment a connection of two souls, and trust that left them softly panting as it came to an end and they collapsed into each others arms. The soft sweat leaving their skin moist, both out of breath. He didn't pull out for a while he just held her close and let them stay as connected as he could for as long as they could. As she started to slowly close her eyes, exhausted in his arms he slowly slid out of her and beside her holding her. He just watched her breathe so softly now, his hand guided over her cheek pushing her brown locks from her face. He wanted to remember this moment forever, remembering her beauty in the most vulnerable moment of their connection. The fact he got to see this side of her that only one other man would see and that would be her future husband. As his mind thought about that his heart ached knowing this can't be them forever. She was still going to have to marry someone with noble blood that could give her the life that he so wished he could give her.
He knew he couldn't stay their much longer, the morning would soon come and the maids would be moving around shortly. He slid slowly out of the bed with her knowing he couldn't leave her like this. He got a rag from the wash vase and wiped himself down first to get the scent of their love making off him. He was always a step ahead when it came to protecting her and this was just another way to do it. She laid there sleeping soundly, he tried to be gentle cleaning her up the best as he could. He slowly lifted her to slide the night gown over her head and panties back on. She was like a limp doll they had exhausted themselves, but he was sure all the crying made her more tired. As he finished cleaning her up he covered her up and kissed her on the forehead, leaving her with a soft whisper. "I love you, and will forever my darling Tessa." After he got dressed fully putting his white gloves on last. As he looked down at his hands he remembered what it felt like to touch her for the first time, truly touch her. It filled his heart but also leaved it aching, he knew he couldn't linger anymore. He walked to the door slowly unlocking it peaking out making sure the halls were clear. He stepped out into the hallway this time leaving it unlocked for the maids and headed back to his room quietly.
As he got back to his room, he looked at the clock was nearly 4am he knew in the next hour the maids would be whooshing around and be getting her up by 6am. He chose to stay awake although he was tired, everything that just happened this evening flooded every thought of his mind. He stayed in his room for another hour then left the room presented as the head butler he always does, composed, stoic, and stern with lack of emotion on his face as he headed towards the dining room where the duchess would be shortly ready for her breakfast routine, pink grapefruit, buttered toast, with a French roasted coffee that was imported. He made sure the breakfast the duchess wanted was read as he entered the room and setting down her breakfast in front of her and softly bowing. He stepped over to the side of the fireplace in the room out of the way like a wall flower but close enough if she needed anything, anything at all. She looked at him with suspicion but said nothing to him as she started to enjoy her breakfast waiting for her daughter to appear out of bed.
After sometime the doors opened and Viktor's eyes met Tessa as she walked in. Something about her now he saw a glow to her, flush to her cheeks that wasn't always there and a smile on her face stopped his heart. Before he knew it he was smiling back at her, something he never does. He never shows expression but she held something in him that he couldn't not show it in this weak moment. As their eyes latched on each other they said nothing but that soft moment that lingered longer than it should have, the duchess noticed it too. Tessa broke eye contact soon as the duchess spoke to her. "Tessa, Did you sleep well last night?" As Viktor heard the question he hadn't realized she would have known. Then his blood ran cold his thoughts went to what if there were remnants of their love making on her sheets and the maids find it. Then his mind flooded with the thought in the passion, grief, and love making they hadn't thought to use any protection. Then the fear set in that if anyone thought something happened in that bed last night they could realize she wasn't pure and ruin her chance. While he was lost in thought Tessa softly responded to her mother but not meeting her eyes. "Yes mother, I'm sure you heard I was crying, I was just nervous about today nothing more than nerves."
The duchess sipped her coffee watching her daughter practically squirm in her chair with no eye contact as she sat there lying to her. She decided to address Viktor this time seeing if she could break whatever this silent secret was between them. "Viktor" he quickly responded to her as he stood with his hands behind his back as a dignified butler would. "Yes, Your Grace" Viktor's world was turning upside down in that moment. His mind reeling, had she seen him leave or at least someone saw even though he saw no one when he left. The duchess was in a mood today there was something weighing on her mind and not hard to see and even though Viktor wasn't showing the fear welling up inside of him he was scared of this outcome after their night together. She looked back at him with a coldness in her eyes. "You were late leaving my daughter's room last night." Even though he was freaking out inside he refused to show it on the outside when he answered her with not a bit of reflection of anything but duty. "Yes, I stayed sitting near the window waiting for her to fall asleep, making sure she was ok, as you taught me to take care of her.
She studied his face looking for guilt or deception but he was trained well to hold his ground and show no emotion in moments although he did break when he saw her today he knew right now he couldn't show any emotion as the duchess eyes were on him. The response from the duchess cold sounding and then she was done questioning him she saw she would get no where with him perfectly trained. "Very well." She chose not to pursue it more from him although she didn't believe him either. Instantly she made the announcement. "Everyone out!" Although no maid had mentioned anything out of place and she didn't have all the information she was determined to pressure her daughter because she knew how to make her break and tell her anything. Viktor's heart thumped harder knowing he couldn't stay and protect Tessa even though he wanted to it would look worse if he had insisted to stay. He bowed to the duchess. "Of course, your grace." Tessa knew that wasn't towards her though even though she wanted to run out with Viktor she was scared of what her mom would say to her alone.
As soon as the door clicks shut, the duchess sits her cup down with a small chink to the dish it touched. No other sound in the moment but Tessa's heart was doing somersaults in her chest of what was to come next. "Tessa!" The duchess voice loud and clear startled Tessa. "Yes Mother?" The air was quiet for a millisecond then her mother continued. "You were crying in your room last night. Tell me again why." She knew in that moment the simple answer she gave earlier wasn't enough especially now that they were alone. She stayed quiet longer than intended to before speaking. Although she wished she could be honest that it was for losing Viktor she knew she just couldn't her mother wouldn't understand. She lifted her head as she began to speak meeting her mothers eyes. "I really was just nervous about today and not wanting to disappoint you." The duchess listened closely noticing the pause, the wavering in her voice like she was keeping something out of her context. "And Viktor?" Tessa's eyes opened wide not expecting him to be part of the question anymore. "What about Viktor?" She wanted it to sound innocent in nature and hoped her mother would buy it.
The duchess smacked the table with her hand. "Don't be coy with me. I saw the way you looked at each other when you entered this morning." She paused as she watched her daughters expression change. "You don't think I don't notice these things?" Tessa froze she really thought she could talk herself out of this by just being innocent like she knew nothing. She now saw her mother was not letting it go just that easy. Before she could come up with a good enough lie her mother stood up and walked over to her putting her hand on her shoulder. "Don't you dare lie to me." Tessa felt a shiver over her body as her mothers hands touched her shoulder, the same shoulder that Viktor had kissed her bare skin on. Her stomach in knots now as she blurted out. "Mother I do not know what you want me to tell you, he is just my teacher so I can find the perfect husband nothing more." Her mother then crossed her arms looking at her get angrier by the minute. "Don't play dumb. Viktor was in your room til well after 4 am. The maids saw him leaving at that time." She paused looking at her daughter intently like she was just waiting for her to break. "You won't me to believe that nothing happened besides him watching over you?"
Tessa was losing this battle minute by minute and she knew it too. She took a deep breath then looked up at her mother, with tears prickling the corner of her eyes. "He was there just for comfort until I stopped crying." Thinking that it was all over no and that her mother would stop the interrogation until her mother yanked her chair pulling her away from the table then looking her directly in the eyes. Tessa could feel her eyes boring through her soul at this point. "Comfort you." She repeated this word a few times in pure disbelief. "And then he just… stood there. Watched you sleep." The duchess knew better a man doesn't stay nearly four hours just watching someone sleep, something surely happened and she was determined to find out what. Tessa fumbled words in an awkward plea to get out of this interrogation from her mother but she soon realized her words were sounding worse every time she said something. "Yes he stood away from my bed...nowhere near it even and i was fully covered he never saw me in my night dress and he just made sure i was ok"
The duchess was getting madder by the minute to her this just sounded like a cover up story that was being told to her when something indeed happened and she was afraid to say what. The more Tessa spoke the thinner the story was getting. She watched her daughters hands tremble as she still hadn't moved from being close to her face. She saw the guilt as Tessa kept trying to look away not letting her eyes meet hers. The stern voice echoed in the room less angry this time hoping that it would make her daughter confess if she wasn't scared. "Tessa, I'm going to ask you one question and I expect a truthful answer." Tessa nodded "Yes mother." She could see her mother trying not to show her anger but she knew her mother well enough to know she was pissed. She never liked being lied to. "Did you sleep with Viktor last night?" Tessa gasped at the question her heart beating so fast she couldn't say it she couldn't lose Viktor she just couldn't. She stood up abruptly bowed to her mother "Excuse me mother bathroom break for the lady." then rushed out the room as fast as she could. The duchess got her answer in more ways than one.
Tessa bolted down the hall towards her room and didn't stop til she got there. She had no intention in telling her mother what happened last night. Her mother always tells her a lady doesn't hold her bladder for long, it could hurt her kidneys so she knew it was the perfect way to escape so sudden. As Tessa ran into her room and slammed the door Viktor was at the end of the hall talking to some of the staff getting the last things ready for the party. He saw her and without any hesitation he dropped the clipboard in his hand with the seating charts and ran to her room he could tell she was upset. He knew something was wrong and he hated himself for not being able to stay by her side with her mother. He didn't hesitate any longer when he reached her door, although not something a male butler should do just walk into a ladies room but he wasn't thinking about anything but comforting her. So much so that he didn't even realize the duchess was standing at the end of the hall watching to see his next move.
He stepped inside Tessa's room and quickly shut the door behind him. She was standing at the window as he saw her she was in distress and he truly knew it when he reached her softly saying her name. "Tessa?" He wasn't sure what was wrong but when she looked up at him with tears lining her eyes he knew it had gone horribly wrong after he left. "She knows....I just know she knows." Tessa mumbled this as she fell into his arms. His composure gone the instant she leaned into him, his arms naturally now opening and holding her close with no hesitation. He pressed a soft kiss to her forehead to calm her. His heart was beating so fast while his mind was whirling on what they should do next if the duchess really did know. Before he could even ask her what all happened she leaned up kissing his lips softly, the door swung open and the duchess was in the doorway. There they were standing in the window, Viktor's lips pressed to hers as their bodies intertwined. Completely scandalous to anyone of noble family to see.
As they saw the duchess in the doorway they quickly parted and watched as she closed the door behind her. As she stepped towards them still saying nothing, having this unreadable expression on her face. The look she gave her daughter especially was that of betrayal, trusting her daughter to know the rights of a young noblewoman. Tessa stepped forward quickly trying to deescalate what she was sure was getting ready to be very nasty. "Mother, I seduced Viktor. Was never his fault I wanted it and I told him he would be fired if he didn't do as I told him." Her mothers face started to turn from expressionless to anger as she listened to her daughter make up such an outlandish lie. Viktor stood there in pure surprise he couldn't believe she was taking full blame for something that could ruin her life. He wasn't about to let her take all this on her he had to protect her like he always had even if it meant losing his job in ruins. As he stepped forward he looked at her with a steady look. "Your Grace, Lady Tessa is lying...I was the one who kissed her first in her time of need."
Tessa's face ran cold as her eyes darted towards him knowing what he said may just very well not just get him fired but get him banned from the lands. The duchess instantly in a cold tone blurted out. "Viktor you will pack your things and leave the estate by dawn tomorrow." Viktor understood what he signed on for when he took full responsibility and bowed to the duchess as to acknowledge what she declared. "Yes your grace." Tessa couldn't take it tears were already filling her eyes and before her mother could react she threw herself to the floor in front of her mother. "Please.... please mother I beg of you please don't fire him and send him away. I'll do anything...I'll marry anyone you want." She was pleading with her freedom just to save Viktor because she loved him more. The duchess walked towards her daughter slightly patting her on the head. Her mother slightly disgusted that a woman of noble blood was groveling at her knees due to some servant, it was disgusting and disgraceful. Tears flowed down Tessa's face as she begged, soaking the material of her dress as she couldn't stop the pain this was causing, it was breaking her apart. The plea once again as she pulled at her mothers frock of her dress. "Please mother I've never asked anything i love him please don't ruin him ill marry whoever you want."
As the only sounds in the room were now Tessa sobbing, before the duchess softly started to speak. This time her tone didn't sound as harsh. "I once fell in love with....a stable boy." Tessa's tears slowly started to stop as she looked up hearing her mother speak. Viktor looked surprised he would have never seen the duchess someone who would have loved someone beneath her. The duchess exhaled softly closing her eyes like she was trying to remember it all then continued. "I thought I could marry him. He was so sweet and kind, was everything I thought a man I would want to start a life with should be." She opened her eyes and now her eyes were laced with tears of the past heartbreak. "My father said no, family said I would be ruined. I was to never see him again and he was ruined for being with me. He never found a suitable job again, never worked for my family again, and I have no clue what happened to him." Tessa wiped the tears staining her cheeks as she slowly stood up listening to her mother. Viktor wanted to cling to her but he felt wasn't smart to do so he kept his distance as the duchess continued her story.
The duchess had never shared this with anyone, but she felt the need for Tessa to understand why she was so harsh. She knew Viktor was a good man and it was his best interest to just leave the family than to stay and the word get out by chance and him never having another job again as well. However as the duchess stopped talking her eyes guided to her daughters heartbroken face. Even though she was strict she didn't like seeing her only daughter hurt so much. Deep down the duchess also had to think about what it would do to their family if word got out as well. She looked from Tessa to Viktor and back again before speaking another word. "My father arranged my marriage to your father… Lord Christopher Van der Laine. I cried for weeks." she paused took a breath. "I loved that boy so much it hurt." She reached for her daughters face kissing her forehead shushing her in the soft whimpers that still escaped her lips with the pain spilling out still. Tessa softly barely audible she called the duchess what she hadn't since she was a little girl. "Mama..." The duchess felt that straight to her heart. She whispered low enough only Tessa could hear her. "You will marry the first man I require you to without one word, if so I will let Viktor stay here and still work. You will be moved out soon after and not to see him again. Do I make myself clear?" Tessa's eyes went sad as she nodded addressing her mothers request.... "Done."
Viktor had no clue what Tessa was agreeing to but he felt it in his gut that something wasn't right. He stood there in silence knowing his place as a servant, he was not allowed to interrupt the nobles even though he wanted to. His jaw clenching, his gloved fists behind his back squeezing tighter. He was frustrated, hurting, grieving all at the same time and he just wanted Tessa to be happy no matter what happened to him. The duchess looked over at Viktor nodded her head before speaking once more. "Viktor you will stay, you are not to have contact with Tessa from here on out. Is that understood?" He bowed before her with only the words a servant was allowed to say when told to do something. "Of course, Your Grace." The duchess turned and walked out the door slamming it behind her. As the door clicked shut the jarring of the windows as it vibrated them. Tessa's eyes met his, tears starting to fall down her face. He felt her heart breaking as he could feel the pain in his chest becoming overwhelming. "What did you agree too?" He couldn't understand why he was able to stay. As her words described the simple but painful truth, Viktor's heart shattered, his breath hitched. Fists clinched tighter, then for a stern butler who never showed emotions. A single tear flowed down his face, the first one he'd ever shed publicly. He watched the only woman he ever loved sacrifice the life she had a chance for happiness with someone for a cold future with any man her mother wanted just to save a servant, because she loved him too much.

If You Like My Work Or Want To Make Requests Please If You Can Be So Kind And Donate.
The duchess had lost her husband 4 years before so she had made one of the head butlers into someone who could help her with her only daughter Tessa. Viktor had been working for her for nearly 6 years so he was the most trusted by the family. He had taken over in the 4 years teaching Tessa about etiquette, and classic literature. He read to Tessa, works by big time authors every night before bed time. At meal times, he taught her the right posture and manners, use silverware appropriately, and being a lady in conversations with her intelligence showing fully in all that he had taught her. He helped her to grow into a refine lady to one day find the suitable husband the duchess requested.
Viktor had a cold and logic based personality, he kept to himself and he was protective of Tessa even though he still stayed in line with the etiquette of a noble woman with a butler servant beneath her. With the date getting closer and he had been teaching her for years preparing for her 18th birthday coming out party where she would be introduced to eligible suitors for marriage. His coldness could be intimidating at times and doesn't let even little things slip. He knew that noble families were ruthless if things are not in the right order so he tried to protect her and prepare her so that no one would know she used to be a rambunctious child. He knew the day was almost here and he found himself when he was alone in his room at night feeling a bit sad that he knew him and Tessa's time was soon to end if she found a partner at the party. He would soon be packing her things and sending her off to be married and live her life without him. Now only two weeks left before everything both of them had known would turn upside down.
This late afternoon she had asked about reading so he took her to the library. He stood near the door entrance as he watched her smiling as she scanned the shelves of their tall bookcases. When she found the one she wanted she was quick to step up on the ladder to get it. This was not the first time she was clumsy she never could keep her balance which is something he had worked on with her trying to help. This day was like any other as he saw her step up he walked towards her lending out his hand as she went to step back almost stumbling but her hand clasping into his steadied her as he helped her step back to the floor. "You need to be careful Tessa one of these days I won't be there and you are going to get hurt really badly." She looked back at him with a smile but soon as he mentioned he wouldn't always be there the smile faded as she turned to walk to the window she didn't want him to see her reaction as she murmured a response. "Of course."
While she sat down on the window seal and opened her book, Viktor started to get the tea poured and ready for her afternoon snack with her tea. He did this every day and she had such a sweet tooth so he would always sneak some macaroons in even though the duchess would say no to sweets. Of course he never once told Tessa this she thought she earned them as a reward for doing so good but in all actuality just a secret only he knows. He walked over sitting her tea down in front of her with her macaroons then with a stern sound but softer than usual. "Tessa, sit up straight when your reading your book." She gave him a face but she did as he said getting comfy still as she reached over grabbing her macaroons and biting into their sweetness.
As Viktor stepped back into place not too far from her if she needed him but far enough away that she wouldn't hear how his heart beats for her and always had. He was about 5 years older than her and born from a low class family. He could never dream of someone like Tessa loving him but it never stopped him from loving her quietly, wishing for nothing but her happiness even if destiny would never allow it to be with him due to her birthright. She smiled as she was enjoying her book, Pride & Prejudice one of her favorites she had read many times before. He had listened to her so many times talk about Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth being such a epic love story that she hoped for one day too. As he was lost in thought he felt the pang in his heart knowing her birth right also stopped her from usually marrying for love too so he knew she could only hope the man she chooses as a best mate she one days falls in love with.
A cool breeze flowed through the curtains softly and Viktor's ears were on par. He had heard footsteps outside the window even though someone would have to climb up to her window to reach her. Then without notice he heard a recognized voice and his shoulders relaxed some. It was her cousin Elias Van Der Laine. This 18 year old man with dark hair and big green eyes had grown up with Tessa. They had played so many summer together when his father would visit the duchess, his sister. Elias had a crush on her but knew that it was never going anywhere because they were such close family, never stopped him from loving her quietly as well. Two men different worlds both loving sweet Tessa and she had no clue either way. She smiled at Elias then looked back to Viktor if but asking him with her soft eyes if it was ok to talk to Elias. Viktor knew her all too well he nodded, not breaking his cold expression but still watching Elias like his life depended on it.
She smiled as Elias was now on her balcony. "You always climb up like a monkey like you did the trees when we were young. I didn't know you had gotten here already." He smiles a soft fragile smile before taking notice of Viktor standing closely by. His words change drastically even though every time he speaks to her he wants to confess his love for her then he chokes on it especially when Viktor is near by. "Just got here, my mama sent me over to give you the gift before anyone else gave you one." He grinned as he handed her a small blue box. Viktor wasn't trying to get into their conversation well not too much anyways but his protective nature he couldn't help himself. She looked back to Viktor and with her soft voice she asked... "Can I open it early just this one Viktor?" He nodded as he watched as she opened the small blue box as he could feel his heart beating faster. The gifts were never to be opened early that was the duchess' wishes however those big brown eyes of Tessa had undone him so many times when she looked at him with that question there was nothing else he could do but to agree to it for her. "Very well one gift by family can be opened early."
She cheered then realized she slouched and snapped back into place as a lady opening the small box. Her eyes lit up at the contents of what was inside. She pulled out a lovely bracelet silver with pearls and sapphire stones lacing around it. Viktor had noticed her smile when she saw it but was prouder of her for fixing her posture without him having to say anything. A lady never slouches for any reason that is the noble way. She reached through the balcony window and hugged Elias catching him off guard. However Viktor noticed the flushed cheeks the boy had as he hesitated to wrap his arms around her because he could feel Viktor's eyes boring into his soul. Before he could get the nerve up to hold her she had pulled back. "Thank you its beautiful Elias." He stammered "Y...yeah mama said it would match your new gown for the party." Elias' blush deepened stretching down to his ears now. She whispered to Elias "Hope you come dance with me at the ball it wouldn't be the same without you" He fidgeted a bit with his jacket nodding in agreeance as he excused himself before she completely unraveled him and Viktor killed him with the jealous eyes he would give at times. He climbed back down from her balcony waiving as he ran off as fast as he could.
Viktor watched as Elias ran off like a lovesick school boy and without thinking he let out a scuffing noise before catching himself. His jealousy was deeper than he imagined but he straightened himself up and went back to watching over her as she opened her book up and went back to reading with a soft smile on her face. He watched her beauty and although he wanted to smile he kept his face solemn because a servant doesn't smile at a lady he nods, he gestures, but never smiles. He also is never allowed to touch her with his bare hands which is why his white gloves are always present whenever he is with her. Mean while Elias is literally losing his cool at what just went down when he left his cousins balcony. His nerves were getting the best of him he was noble but he was still her cousin and life seemed so unfair in this moment. He took a few deep breaths trying to steady his fast beating heart before he walked back into meet back up with his mom and dad.
Those 2 weeks passed rather fast and it wasn't the day of the party yet but the day before it. Viktor got a knock at his door that evening from one of the maids telling him that Tessa had locked herself in her bedroom crying and wouldn't eat. He sighed before redressing his gloves and shoes as he was about ready to end his night. He walked softly down the quiet halls until he got to her door where he could hear her soft sobs. He reached for the handle already expecting what the maid said it would be locked and it was. He pulled a key from his pocket it was in case of emergencies and this was one he had no idea what was wrong but his protective nature of her he knew he needed to be there for her the way he could at least. He turned the key stepping inside and shutting and locking it back behind him. He saw her on the bed face into her pillows with muffled sobs it broke him in everyway it could and he wanted to hold her so badly but he couldn't it was the one thing he couldn't do for her. He knew something was wrong she had been so excited weeks ago for this party and now here she is crying in distress. He walked closer softly calling her name. "Tessa." She didn't stop the tears she kept weeping as the click of his shoes against the cold marble floor as he approached her bed.
The candle light flickering on the table leaving shadows on the walls. Her laying across the bed with her brown hair fanned out and soft sobs still leaving her throat with every tear that fell. He had never seen her like this in the 4 years he had been by her side this was all new. She was a happy girl and his heart ached knowing she was hurting and wasn't sure if it was something he could fix. As he approached the bed he noticed her in her night gown he quickly looked away as he saw it slid off one shoulder exposing her skin. He wanted to pull it up for her but at the same time her maids should be the one handling her in her night clothes. Sure he had read to her every night but she was already dressed for bed and covered up by the time he would normally enter. Seeing her exposed like this left him pure breathless. He was a man no matter what he couldn't help how it made his whole body run hot just from such a small amount of skin being showed. He grabbed a blanket at the end of her bed and slowly pulled it up covering her better so he could think straight. He spoke her name once more... "Tessa" As she looked up at him tears stained on her cheeks and pain showing through her face, caused his breath to catch in his throat. Even though she was crying she was still the most beautiful woman he had ever seen.
He knelt down on the floor near her bed and softly petted her head as if being affectionate to a small kitten and just as gentle. He wanted to calm her already trembling body and it was all he knew he could do without going too far. His voice breaking even as he called her name once more. "Tessa" She rose her head up again this time she reached for him and his mind went blank. She reached so much that she toppled off the bed as she fell into his lap. He slipped back as he sat on the floor with her arms wrapped around his neck, her body flushed against his and he froze he didn't know what to do. He was trying to keep his distance as he should but she needed him and her closeness, the smell of her hair, her skin, he was drowning he couldn't stop himself. His hands didn't instantly wrap around her but his arms lifted slowly instead, her body shaking with her sobs soaking his black jacket he couldn't not care for her when she needed it most. As his arms finally clasped around her he pulled her close not saying a word right now just holding her like she needed.
In the 4 years he had been by her side he had never held her like this, never touched her, never petted her hair. In 6 years he had worked for the family he would have never thought to do something so stupid, he knew this could be his job and could confuse Tessa and his heart just broke, what else could he do his mind and heart didn't agree his heart had to be there for her. She murmured in her tears half audible words "I......dont....please....dont....me...." she wasn't making alot of sense but she couldn't stop crying for the words to make sense either. He slowly started to rock her in his arms to shush the sobs and mumbles that didn't need to be said, whatever her reason he wasn't leaving her side. His hand slid up to the back of her head and even with his white glove he let soft pressure hold her head to his chest to calm her, to ease her shaking as the only sound besides her sobs were his sounds. "Shhh, its ok I got you." As he held her and her sobs started to slowly quieten he was reminded that at least he locked the door because he knew how this would look if someone came in saw him holding nobility like this he would be fired and banned from the grounds immediately. However as she laid in his arms a part of him just didn't care, she needed him and he was there.
She eventually looked up at him their eyes meeting not one word then before he knew it she had leaned in kissing his lips softly. The warm brush of her lips against his, he froze not that he didn't dream of this so many times but because he knew he couldn't, no shouldn't want this...but he did. It happened and he knew there was no going back, he had crossed every line he was never supposed to. Now Tessa not Lady Tessa Van der Laine but just soft Tessa the girl who he had spent the last few years taking care of, training, teaching, and loving her in the only ways he could was kissing him and for the first time in his whole life he didn't know what to do. Moments passed their lips still touching, he didn't push her away, he couldn't after those moments past something inside of him broke and he slowly leaned into the kiss as he held her closer capturing her lips back, kissing her with every ounce of love he had to give her in that moment. Every held back smile, every time he wanted to hold her, kiss her, love her, every time she pouted and looked away, every blush on her cheeks, the holding her from falling, the night readings, everything leading up to this moment he needed her in this moment like his lifeline to life. He kissed her, really kissed her like she was his last breath that he hung on in her lips.
As he broke away after some time his gloved hand reaching up wiping those stained cheeks from her salty tears. He smiled for the first time before sliding his hands to her chin then pulling her back into him kissing her lips so gentle. Everything outside the room cease to exist it was only them right now. The kiss was slow, with full intension of what he was doing. The years of restraint washed away by her very tears and her soft lips that made his heart beat faster. The kiss grew deeper and more passionate, they were lost in the kiss that lasted much longer than it should have. She wrapped her arms around him as he pulled her back into a kiss she could feel it in that moment that he had felt this for as long as she had this is why she was breaking about what tomorrow was going to mean. She didn't want to think about not having him by her side anymore when she married and had to leave. Everything outside of him scared her so much and she loved him she had loved him for years. He didn't break from this kiss, he couldn't this was a kiss from a man that had loved a woman so quietly that his heart was shattering every day at the day he knew he would say goodbye.
As the kiss broke again he knew he needed to know why she was crying and now that she wasn't anymore maybe now he could understand her. "Tessa what made you cry?" Her soft brown eyes looked up at him, her lip began to tremble as she stuttered the words out at first. "I....I don't want this life anymore...I don't want to be proper lady, I don't want lords vying for my hand and i never want to leave you but tomorrow will be the steps to finding a husband and walking away from you forever." His breath hitched, guilt kicked in. He had taught her to be the lady, trained her all the ways to be a good wife yet she didn't want any of this. He couldn't understand how he couldn't have seen this before now. He kept pushing her trying to make sure she didn't forget, slip and do something to shame herself all while she was breaking inside not wanting any of this even past her smile that lit up rooms and his heart. He felt helpless he had no idea how to fix this pain that now he blames himself for being a big cause of. Her soft voice continues as he is frozen with all these thoughts. "I...I have been in love with you for years Viktor. but this stupid title and nobility keep us from being together i just want to get rid of all of this i just want to be a girl in love with a guy she wants to be with forever."
His heart stopped her words, her gentle loving words. He knew what she was asking for would destroy her world, it would take every good thing she ever had and erase it. He was conflicted parts of him just wanted to pick her up and run away with her yet the other part wanted to shield her and still be the strong protector that helped her move on with a better future without him. His chest tightened he even felt the heat flush into his face he couldn't believe the words, she loved him too all this time. The disciplined servant with the silver grey eyes that always had his hands gloved before seeing her. She was in love with the man that was never worthy of her yet she chose to love him anyways. He couldn't offer her what the nobles could but he knew he loved her more than any other ever would. Every rule he had enforced, the distance he had kept, not out of coldness, but because loving her would destroy them both. A butler and a noblewoman? Impossible. Scandalous even. It would ruin her, no man of decent birth would want her after choosing a servant. Yet here she sat in his arms loving him anyways wanting to throw away titles and tradition just to be with him.
Reality loomed for the next day would change everything, the ball started at noon and their new reality would become what breaks both their hearts. Viktor closed his eyes briefly trying to figure out what was best to be done. He then realized this might be their last night together. If the right suitor meets her tomorrow the duchess was sure to marry her off and he would be packing her bags by sun down. While his mind was whirling his mind, body, and heart stopped at her next words. Her words softly whispered in his ear "If this is to be my last...make love to me please." He heard her plea, her wanting to share this love with the man she tomorrow would say goodbye to. He knew if he did this there was no going back. He was frozen in place not sure how to proceed everything screamed him he couldn't but his heart was screaming make love to her because the cruel world wouldn't let them be and maybe they were always meant to be star crossed but this one night was theirs. As he was lost in thoughts in a soft quietness he was startled as he watched her grab for his hand pulling it up to her face. She slowly started to pill the glove from his hand he knew he should stop her but her couldn't. Then when she took his bare hand and touched it to her soft skin on her face it was all over he wasn't leaving this room tonight until he had shared their love together a lifetimes worth in the moments of their bodies colliding with passionate kisses and loving embrace.

This is a really good anime think I knew it would be from the start though. Has a catchy song to it too check below and you will see what I mean. So I feel like if you like vampires and werewolves this show is definitely for you. I am going to give a run down of the show but then I want to talk about m 3 favorite characters in the show. I feel like even though its not listed as a isakei it really still could be however you don't find out til much later why that is. Its got a group of vampires that befriend a human girl named Sooha. They are drawn to her yet don't know why yet. Then introduces the werewolves and the under lining that werewolves are disappearing and they are blaming vampires for it. That is the base line of what is happening while you are also watching them all get closer to Soo-ha.
So you get to see early on how much Sooha hates vampires any chance she gets she talks about them being horrible creatures that feel nothing. It honestly gets annoying after while how in depth she has to make it every single time. Funny thing is she tells them its cause a vampire killed her only friend she had growing up. Yet.... get this when she sees the guy later and thinks its Chris her friend she suddenly is ok with he is back from the dead yet still hates vampires. My question is why cause if you think your friend who wasn't killed by vampires after all why hate vampires especially the guys who have been protecting you all this time. She annoyed me alot with the way she acted towards them at times however I am glad she came to her senses realizing the guy wasn't Chris and that the vampires she knew and loved had not been bad people.
It goes into details of how they all came from a past life which is why I said feels like the isakei part of it to me. Sooha was a princess with powers and she was the one who turned the guys into vampires to go after Darden who was obsessed with her and wanted to take her and her magic for his own. Then the fact you find out more about the werewolves on the other side with Khan being the lycan that leads them is cool too. Its like two stories that intertwine with what's going on now and they all learn to work with each other even though in the beginning that hated each other. Then it becomes interesting in how to save Sooha from being sacrificed so he can get her power to destroy everything and make everyone vampires. This anime is a 10/10 for me I loved it the only thing I hated was waiting week to week to see it. I will say the main 3 guys are Heli, Khan, and Solon the rest of the guys are more background noise even if they are a main cast of the show. Also this hottie below is in the show at the very end for like 2 minutes but I would love to know more about him for sure.
Heli
Poor Heli went through the most hell with trying to show her that they weren't bad. He was so gentle and sweet and when you see he was a knight in shining armor minus the armor makes him even more gentleman like. He has a kind smile, and even though when he gets upset at someone hurting his family or the love of his life he will stop instantly if told to. He shows his loyalty from past life with Selen to the current with Sooha both being the same girl he had loved for a very long time even when he couldn't remember his heart knew. I love how he never gave up Sooha even though she talked about hating vampires so much. I however am glad they fell in love in the 2nd life too cause the first one his rank to hers was always forbidden this way they can enjoy the love that was always unmistakable between them. I love he will protect her at any cost and declares it even if it kills him. Heli looks gentle but for Selen/Sooha he would take on the world and die trying to protect her. There is no way some one can hate his character I just can't imagine it.
Solon
Ok this hottie got me with his heterochromia, I have such a weakness for it. I thought at first maybe he was tsundere but honestly I feel like he just is used to not trusting people it takes him a bit to warm up to someone. Once he cares about them he becomes one big puppy dog. No seriously he does turn into a full size wolf. That being said he keeps that secret for so long until he needs to step in and protect Sooha then he doesn't hold back. Oh boy and is he beautiful even as a wolf. I would really love to dive deep into writing about this one and plan to how can I not the moment I saw him he swept me away. He is my favorite of all the guys and I think always will be. I'm not even sure if he is even vampire I mean he drinks blood with the rest of the guys however I feel like it was for show. I wish they dived more into if he is a lycan as Khan is or maybe a half-breed anyways such a beautiful man with the coolest hair colors.
Khan
Although I was such a big fan of Khan being Sooha's love interest until I saw the history Heli had then it was all over with. However this boy is kind, gentle, and blushy. I love his mannerism, how he handles himself and even when he stands up and becomes the lycan he was always meant to be. He is cute with his wolfy ears and obsession with wanting to give Sooha all these pictures of wolf cubs. When he turns into a giant wolf it is so cool looking. I love that he has such a bond with people close to him and even with Sooha. I hate they never showed away in the show for him to get rid of always being in love with Sooha though. Due to the wolf curse I call it cause he saw Sooha under the red moon then bam in love forever. So sad this boy deserves someone who chooses him first and only him. But oh the end even when he knows she loves Heli and has a past life he tells her he loves her and always will however his biggest thing is he wants her happy even if its not with him. OMG made me want to squeeze his cheeks and kiss him. I'm not big on werewolves always been more into vampires but this wolf boy I really have a soft spot for.

I love these two Heli was always so sweet but to find out he was in love with her in a past life too yeah this was too precious not to make a video for them in their past life and the next as well.
This was one of those rare gems I happened to come across not expecting what I found. However the longer I watched the anime which I binged the more I needed more Su-ho and Jugyeong, so soon as it ended and I found out there was a K-drama and that Su-ho was end game I had to watch it. Took me a bit longer to watch it due to the fact its a little over an hour each episode however loved every minute of it. The fact that these days I hardly watch anything but anime it was definitely different but its one I can say the anime doesn't come close to how great the show is. There is much more details in the show cause it has 16 episodes a little over a hour a piece. So from him thinking she is jumping off a building, to how they met as kids to all the little things that were changed. I feel like the remake of the anime being so different that if I had watched it second I would have been upset but glad I watched it first and suggest you start with the anime before going to netflix for the show. Anime - 7/K - drama - 10
Jugyeong
She really is a very likable character for anyone who has ever been an outcast, picked on, called names and humiliated in horrible ways. I could truly understand her cause as a kid I had alot of issues in school. She got to shine at her new school and see what it was like on both sides of school. I loved that Su-ho eventually fell in love with her for both sides he never saw a difference in the girl that she thought was night and day and to everyone else as well. I would say she is different from the live action version definitely more lighter.
Although they are to be the same person I found watching the k-drama I loved her even more. You get to see truly how hurt she was from everything she went through in her old school. Anyone who has been picked on this would bring almost to tears well it did me. She gave much more feeling like everything that happened to her was more intense in the kdrama to the anime so was more heartbreaking. Also when you see her happy she has such a beautiful smile and personality. If I had just seen the anime been one thing but once I saw the kdrama the anime didn't stand a chance with this woman she was much more a star in the kdrama.
Su-ho
He was a bit awkward even in the anime they did get that right however I don't know I feel more like his standoffish attitude was much worse sometimes in the anime maybe cause you can't see the facial expressions too. However he was still a very likeable character that I enjoyed watching. He was still that protective soul that loved her to pieces even if he didn't always say it.
I feel like you could feel Su-ho and his emotions so much more in the show. You saw his brooding in the beginning and when you realized how much he blamed himself for his friends death how much it haunted him you watch him fall apart. It was very good acting I felt all this mans pain. Even the little things he did as he noticed her was absolutely perfect. He isn't a flashy guy, he is a bit blushy and awkward but he is loyal and very loving the moment he is able to show it. He was the best boy for sure in both anime and kdrama however the show was what send me over the edge even more knowing he was the one for her.
Seo-jun
He was such a cute blushy boy in the anime loved it since I love my blushy boys. He didn't have the heart in him like he did in the kdrama but he was sweet and cute in his own way. Even though I was always a Suho girl in the anime Seo-jun I felt like was more likeable in some sense however still think he was never what she needed in her life like that. He was a great friend in the kdrama however I feel like he was more selfish in the anime. So even in the end when you see them together instead of her with Suho it was annoying cause it didn't feel like he earned his way there, he didn't feel like he loved her like he did in the kdrama.
This is the character they went really far off on. In the anime he is a blushy boy and sweet. The kdrama he has more edge, acts like the bad boy, the cool boy and the tsundere in some moments. However I will say the moments you saw him look at her with love in his eyes and nothing else would make your heart break. He did love her completely and he also knew the side of her with and without makeup and still loved her unlike in the anime they made it seem like he only knew her pretty side. The actor was spot on handling this role and I look forward each time to see what he would do since he was unpredictable. I also love that he does love Suho and their friend they lost too so much even though for awhile he shows none of it to Suho. He isn't a bad guy and alot of people think he was the main pick however when I give a comparison you can make the choice for yourself.
Who To Choose?
Even though in the show it never shows that her and Su-ho get together its inclined she ends up choosing a life with Seo-jun after Se-ho had been gone for over a year with his father being sick. In the anime I felt like they ended Su-ho too fast and pushed him out of the story however the kdrama let you feel everything. The anime feels like its half done there was so much after you never see in it.
However if you see the live show then you will see that she would have had a hard choice if she had let hersel however Jugyeong and Su-ho were always the end game even in her heart. When they broke up cause he was with his sick father she still loved him through the pain. For 2 years she pined after him and even when Seo-jun tried to be the loyal friend he wasn't enough. After seeing the whole show its not hard to see why it was always Suho. So let me break it down, 1st and foremost they were kids together. Even though they didn't realize it right away and he did before her. When his mom died and his dad was sleeping with other women he was the crying when she came in one day. She did everything she could to make him laugh.
He was smitten that day with her even when she looked her worse and everyone thought she was ugly even her family. They only lost touch cause she moved but coming back it was all going to fall into place. He protected her he beat the hell out of guys who kidnapped her. He has sheltered her at school when her makeup was ruined so no one would see. He protected her at camp and even did cute lil song for her watch below. Honestly this man did so much for her to show her she mattered Seo-jun didn't stand a chance in this mans light to her. He never moved on was always her too. She showed him a love when no one else gave him anything and he was alone. He had the guilt on his shoulders and she was there for him through it just as he was there for her when she didn't feel pretty to anyone he made sure she knew she was to him always. Absolute end game.

A Gentle Noble's Vacation Recommendation Anime Review
Spoilers Included
I came for the artwork and stayed for the voice actors. Lizel being Soma Saito and Gil being Yūichirō Umehara I was sold at that point. Its a relaxing yet semi weird anime at the same time. Like it screams Boys Love everywhere yet not labeled as one or even a romance, well in this case not listed as a bromance either. Yet every person that meets Lizel almost instantly falls in love with him. He has no idea how he ended up in their world nor does he remember his old one well until he does. Let me explain. So The whole show has things you have to closely pay attention to. The first part of the show leaves you curious because all of a sudden he is already in the new world and you weren't there to see him ripped away until a lil later. He dresses as a nobleman yet still tells people he isn't one when the way he presents himself always looks noble even when he still says he is an adventurer later.
If I remember right there is only one episode in the middle of the show that shows you his world trying to find him and who they are to him. Like there is a hot looking king who is all about finding him, he was noble even though he tried to say he wasn't. Also later on the last episode it felt rushed yet incomplete. So they show him passing out in the street then a crack in the dimension and he can now see the king and his father and he doesn't even look surprised. For someone who had no clue where he was from or how he got there yet he sees these people and was like...oh that's cool then move on with his day like it didn't happen. It almost feels like the show was pacing slow then realized they were on the last episode and hadn't shown his world again since they figure the watcher is invested there more than wondering about his other world.
I was amazed for an anime that doesn't call itself a BL yet besides passerby's there is no main female even in the anime its like here is this new world full of horny boys that will drool and follow you around like a lost puppy but we aren't gonna give it romance so it can't be a BL. It was a strange anime that's for sure and I can't say it ever made more than a 5 possibly 6 but mainly for the voice actors then cause the story is weak. Then on top of it at the ending episode you see him talk to the king and his father then end it with "Wait a lil while we will get you home" kind of speech then end it there. That's not only leaving it possible for a season 2 but this one plainly forced it either there is a season 2 or this animal will go down in history as the one that didn't finish in any sort of closure.
The characters are likable enough however Lizel honestly is the only one worth thinking about from this show. Sure Blade can fight and be stronger than anyone however just forgettable (well without that sexy voice that is). To me due to the weak story, forgettable characters, and a unwritten ending make this such a easy anime to watch and then in a week not remember it. Because I watched it week to week I had to always scan over the last episode to remember what happened. In a weeks time I normally am hanging off my chair for a new episode of an anime I'm watching airing but not this one. By the way I did say there was no females but the only 2 they showed that had any screen time were the two below however they weren't in alot of the episodes so again barely women in the show.
Anyways if you read all the way through this and didn't care about the spoilers then you get to make the decision here if its worth giving it a shot knowing the ending feels half done and the anime might fall into the forgot list after watching it. If I had to do it again knowing what I know now I would have passed on this anime.

The Fated Magical Princess: Who Made Me a Princess Anime Review
Spoilers Included
This anime was a random one I ran across not really knowing what to expect, I won't lie seeing the hot guys in it pulled me in. I mean even the king is attractive. That being said I love romance stories so I hated to find this really wasn't one truly. It had its moments that gave you sight something was going on between characters however nothing concrete except for her mother and father and what they had many years before. It is worth watching especially for the sincere moments between father and daughter. I didn't know if I would like it but still found myself bingeing it within a 2 day time span. Now let me break down things that stood out to me within this lovely anime.
Tragic Love Story
This was sweet getting to see how her parents fell in love. However it also shows the tragedy that led to the dark parallel world. Her dying in childbirth to give birth to Athanasia. Then watching through out the season why this man lost everything he thought the day she chose to have the baby even knowing she would lose her life. He didn't want nothing to do with Athanasia due to this as well as she looked like her momma. You find out later she showed her daughter the parallel world that her life could be and gave her that knowledge so that she could have a chance to change it.
Always There
Lucas is hot hands down especially as an adult. He is a great wizard and is pulled to Athanasia cause her altering the time lines he can feel it. He helps her take the magic that overwhelms her system from time to time however this gives him a role by her side through the years. He gave so much power he couldn't go back to his adult form so he stayed a kid beside her. He was such a pain in the butt and annoying even to her however when she would start talking about Ijekiel you could see it was getting to him. As time went on you saw how deeply he cared and how he always was there for her. Before I knew it I wanted to see them together and although it didn't end with a kiss it was implied he would come back to her stronger to protect her. He is her end game.
His Angel
From the first time she ever meets him she comes in as an angel granted this was due to Lucas throwing her from the sky but it was such a sweet meet cute. He even caught her both when younger but when he is older too. He admits even when he is older he missed her and always came back to the place they met hoping to see her again. Although he knew it was Athanasia he played like he didn't like she was an angel and continued to address her as so even at the party for her. He has no problem unlike Lucas making it very clear he is into Athanasia and would like a chance for more than just a friendship. I think he would be good for her in so many ways however I saw Lucas stealing her heart before she even knew it. That's the downfall that Ijekiel wasn't around her as much as Lucas was made a big difference in their love story I think.
Father/Daughter Love
Watching these two that needed each other so much and the love that unfolded between father and daughter. She melted his heart in away he had never thought would happen since his wife died. He doesn't show alot of emotion but as time goes on its his actions that show he loves her. The anime really plays off the show being more about them saving each other than anything else. However it builds a story you can truly understand before watching the 2nd season when it comes out.
The Hotties
My frustrations in this is there is all these hot men and not one kissing scene or real love story. I mean you get the bits of her parents and the insinuation between her and Lucas as well as her and Ijekiel but nothing solid. There is to be a second season so I read just not sure when it comes out hopefully it shows more love story cause this was way more about getting her fathers love than anything. I would say this falls closer to a 7 for me on the chart but still worth the watch.

The Villainess Is Adored by the Prince of the Neighbor Kingdom Anime Review
Spoilers Included
So I bought the game to this but wanted to watch the anime fully before jumping into the game. This show almost felt like it was 2 seasons just in how they made the first part about Tiararose and Hartknights, then later when she ends up with Aquasteed it was like now it was about her life for the sequel game that she was supposed to be in. I do want to read out each character and the ups and downs of my thoughts on them. Also pin point anything that happens in the game will be a separate post once I play it. This is a anime with a scale of 8 at least for me I loved it and recommend it.
Tiararose & Aquasteed
These two omg they are too cute together. The way he likes to be a lil cheeky to make her blush. The way she does get flustered with the littlest things he does that no one else does. The fact he fell in love with her from a far and watched her read and eat sweets everyday was precious. Then the moment he got a chance to make her his he jumped on it no hesitation. I love his persistence and I don't even hold it against him when he was drugged. However there were moments he was doing stuff that was hurting Tiara but think Keith made his point to him and he straightened up. He is very protective and keeps her safe from anything and everything that he can. I love how intense his love is for her and how she feels so loved with him.
Hartknights & Akari
These two belong together honestly because he treats Akari with care he never once showed Tiara. Plus the longer she is with him she actually becomes a decent person who learns to care about Tiara as well as others outside of herself. After Tiara leaves the castle and moves to Aqua you don't see these two much after that so they really aren't huge in the story even though he started our as Tiara's fiancé. I normally love the best friend and honestly growing up with Tiara he pretty much was this but how cold he treated her the moment he was the one who started cheating he didn't deserve her.
Icilla
This one comes off as a goody-to-shoes and I don't care from her from the start. She is supposed to be portrayed as innocent 14 year old girl who doesn't know what love is. However she stays up Aqua's ass as much as she can even after he has a fiancé she ain't stupid you know she knows that's not ok to do to another woman's man. Then on top of it when she realizes at the wedding she is in love with him she was going to say something whether or why at someone's wedding at that. That takes a special kind of person to want to tear apart a wedding day. I was glad by then Akari was there on Tiara's side as was Keith. They were not gonna let miss goody girl here mess it up. Then when Pearl gave her a potion to take Aqua for herself she didn't hesitate and didn't even say anything until he had already drank it. Then when his feelings shifted to her she didn't once try to push him away. I just didn't like in the end of it all everyone was ok with her still being friends when to me she is the biggest red flag of them all.
Keith/Crail/Pearl
These 3 are fairies Forest, Sky, & Ocean. So Keith plays a big part in the story and I love his character. I feel like he is more protective of Tiara and hates when Aqua gets sided tracked towards Icilla. He is bold and has no issue in telling Aqua what he thinks he is doing wrong. I think he would gladly take Tiara for his own if she ever wanted it without hesitation but he doesn't want what isn't his to have. Crail on the other hand damn this man is beautiful. I can say we definitely don't see enough of him and even when we do its not enough. Some reason they call him Claire in the show even though in the game his name is Crail just he pretends to be a girl in the anime for Pearl. This is where its confusing Pearl is a female yet they announce her as king over and over again. Anyways she is hateful and wants Crail for herself yet won't tell him. Instead anyone who shows liking to him like Tiara did she goes ape shit and over the top jealous. In the end she does the right thing but that's after she caused more hurt for Tiara than ever needed to be.

This is a weird show I honestly wasn't even sure I would get through the whole show before quitting that is until Ori he caught my interest from the start. So this show is all about these guys in the boy band kpop group F/ACE and their bad sides. Every one of them have it except you never see Rintaro even though I assume he has one it isn't shown in the show. I will break down each character since there is many. Lets start with our main character.
Utage
So this girl grew on me after some time but at first she seemed almost like a stalkerish fan. Then after you see her after she takes Tamon on as a customer and she cleans his home. You get to see she is much more than that and truly grows to care for the guys especially Tamon. However I didn't like that you see how strong she comes out to be when she makes it known how things will be around the men. Then later you see Tamon's obsessive almost stalkerish vibe that gives me the chills and you could even see the fear in her face. Alot of fans I have read about think that it was a put on that Tamon was still the best for her since she falls in love with him, sadly I disagree I think Ori was better for her. I feel like she couldn't see past Tamon since she had always been his fan so no matter what he did she would have loved him anyways.
Tamon
I won't lie the sexy version of Tamon is so damn delicious. However the creepy anxiety driven yandereish b side of his is scary. He has his moments where he is just cute with his bashful side even when he is anxious but what turned me off of him. Its when he got overly possessive and started telling her in his creepiness that she will only be his fan. You could see her own fear yet he never pulled back however people in other anime's bitch about this - sighs... I don't get it. Also you get to see flash backs he took alot from Ori and still always acted like he was the innocent one. I just couldn't like him like I think the show wanted people too.
Ori
This is my sweetie, my favorite baby boy. So he comes off on stage as this very charismatic man which is adorable. His b-side is more tsundere filled than anything. However being someone who loves the tsundere's it wasn't hard for me to catch it right away. Then as you realize he fell in love with Utage he became a blushy boy around her. He is still cold to everyone else though typical tsundere. You get to see his parents treated him like shit, and Tamon was his friend however he also took the light of the crowd pushing Ori to the side which broke his heart. I feel like this is why he seems more standoffish than others however being around her slowly opens him up. I really think he was the best boy for her truly just got a bad rep cause of his tsundere ways.
Keito
This guy almost seems like a sweet guy almost innocent before you see his b-side. He has alot of pint up anger however he really does care about all the guys he is like the big brother. Even when they are sick he cooks for them. It comes out later that he took care of his siblings so you understand why he is the way he is. He doesn't like fans cause most want want and want yet are more toxic in ways he sees until he gets close to Utage and learns to like her. Unless he is interacting as a group you don't get alot of alone on camera with him cause although he is the leader of the group he is still a side lined character. I would say I wouldn't mind seeing more about him in the future.
Natsuki
This was the biggest night and day differences I thought. You had this guy so full of sunshine always smiling just a little cutie. Then when you see his b-side he is smoking and drinking and walking around half dressed. Then you get to see his backstory which aligns him with Utage's teacher. You find he blames himself why she lost out on the future she wanted and he blamed himself for it. As he meets her again in the future and they talk you can tell there is something still between them and I don't mean a friendship I really do ship them together. It was nice to see she was no longer upset with him and they could continue on being in each others lives. This is when he stepped up and wrote her a song too it was too sweet.
Then there is the catchy music in this show that I just had to mention cause its addictive and now on my music list. This is their intro song but also check out some of the others as well.

So wasn't sure what to expect from this anime but what pulled me in was how attractive Kohaku was just in the trailer. I loved in watching this I also got to see a man with a personality I grew to love fast. He is normally a guy who never lets girls close enough since most only see his family for money including him. So it even surprises him when he meets Yoi and he can't stop thinking about her. It was sweet and intimate in its own way watching two people who didn't really know what love is fall in love day by day in the little awkward moments. I loved that he saw her beauty from the first day but it wasn't all he wanted, he wanted all of her. There were even a little spicy remarks of his about how he wanted to kiss and touch her all the time. It was a great shoujo that showed coming of age and learning to love yourself as well as love others for who they are not whats on the outside only.
Then there is the coworker who falls for Yoi as well Takuto Ohji. He is a cute guy that likes her cause he can just be casual around her, they have alot in common but he doesn't make her feel like the princess Kohaku makes her feel like. I think even though he is a awkward boy who surrounds himself with sports he could have been good for Yoi if Kohaku hadn't met her first. However he is a much better choice he challenges her as she does him. Its more intense but in a good way. This couple grows on you quiet fast it truly is a cute adolescent love story, of two people learning to love in real time. They even come across jealousy in their own ways. However I think they are good for each other and Yoi is pretty likeable for a main character. I would say it is a solid 7 1/2 in animes that I like. It wasn't full binge worthy but I did catch up to the season in 2 days and then still watched the last 3 episodes week to week until it was done.

Anyway I'm Falling In Love With You S2 Anime Review
Spoilers Included
I watched the first season and the way they left it I was on the edge of my seat for months to know what happened next. I hated that Shin put himself out there and it failed so was hoping in the 2nd season he might have a chance. Then it happens, the 2nd season starts and you find out Kizuki just up and left Mizuho for 3 years without a word, text, or anything and they had been together for 7 years. Like that rubbed me so wrong I hate abandonment anyways its a big fear of mine yet its exactly what he did to her and his friends. No one knew anything bout where he went. So for us fans that love one of the other guys it was great was time to see if she would notice them especially as they were now adults too. So let me break it down how I felt about each character this season.
Shin
The one that stole my heart pretty early on. He has the big brother energy that would protect Mizuho from anything. He even goes as far as after her mom dies anchors himself to being a doctor one day so he can be there if this ever happens again to her or someone in her family just because he hates seeing her cry. He is quiet and doesn't say his feelings for so long but when he does he takes the chance to let her know how he has always felt. He is the only one who thought of a steady future, marriage, kids, a steady income. He would be the smart choice for anyone who wanted stability yet she chose the least stable of them all.
I felt bad enough for Shin in the first season but this season I watched him break and it hurt me. I wanted to shelter him to. He made a comment to her dad his adolescence leading to his adult life has always been about her. He studied and got into the school he did in his profession all for her. Now he has to learn how to live without her being the center of it all and that's going to be hard. What made me mad was in college he slipped once with despair his heart hurt so bad he gave into sins and was with another woman. Yet the world of anime loves condemned him for this but to me this made him more human. He didn't cheat on her he was never with her but he was drowning in his own pain and she hadn't even noticed once. Then when he was sick with a fever alot of people hated he almost kissed her pulling her into bed and all yet he wasn't thinking clearly however Kizuki could do no wrong by alot. I still say Shin was the better guy.
Suugo
This is the best friend in every way he was with her before anyone else. However he has never once told her how he felt so instead of taking a chance like Shin did he friend zoned himself. He had one chance to show her well technically 2 in this season and still thought he was doing better by her by not adding that stress to her life cause he was sure she wouldn't choose him anyways. When he loses his father and you see him break you see this man has so much heart and emotional more than the rest. Although Shin still does something to my heart it would not be hard to understand why Shuugo would have been a good man for her too.
Then when it come to standing up for Mizuho he was the even if it meant kicking Kizuki's ass when he was rough with her trying to take her away. I was so happy to see one of the guys beat Kizuki's ass for just leaving all of them and leaving her. However the moment you see him break in his car I lost it I started hysterically crying for at least 20 minutes. He hit a place in my heart that in that moment I just wanted to hold him he is such a cinnamon roll. He has the most personality out of all of them but you really see more of it in season 2 even if it shows flashbacks as well.
Airu
There isn't too much to say about him really I mean I feel our of all of them he is the least screen time and honestly most the time boring. He is either fighting, designing, pining over Kizuki (more in the first season though) and hurting guys that wanted a chance (Toya) while in the ending up being the only one getting married. His story made no sense cause he went through his fighting his feelings and others and getting beat up. Then you see he moves on to pushing and pulling Toya away and even in this season Toya tells him to forget about Kizuki and be with him but nope. Amazes me since years later he moves on in those 3 years Kizuki is gone and gets engaged to the guy he went to school with that first noticed his crushing on guys. Its like what made him get over Kizuki for this guy but not Toya when to me he was much better of a choice.
Kizuki
In the first season can't say he was bad he had alot of sweet moments with Mizuho however way to pushy about her falling in love with him. Like as far as the other guys they wanted to earn her love he just plainly told her he wanted to be her boyfriend and he was going to make her fall in love with him. Although persistence is nice sometimes I felt he was overwhelming. Then in the 2nd season you find out he just ditched her for 3 years along with everyone leaving no contact. He didn't value her or the relationship let alone the friendship that was from childhood. I just feel like he was immature even into adulthood. He says he left cause he hurt his arm so he could no longer swim. That is such a lame excuse to abandon someone you say you love. Not only that but thats like him saying he knew the only way Mizuho could love him is for his image as a swimmer.
He proves this when he ups and quits his job and goes back to trying to swim to get her to watch him. Then confesses his love for her again. Like what a joke the worst part is no matter how inconsistent he was in the end she still chose to go back to him which floored me. How much of an idiot she was she learned nothing even getting older. He is not the kind of man you can rely on and lost every little bit of respect I had for him in this season. Not to mention he used her as a possession the moment he saw her in the restaurant he dragged her down the road and across the bridge even when she said stop he still kept on took Shuugo ending that. Honestly he is not a great guy in my book.
Mizuho
This girl got on my nerves relatively fast as a kid however think she annoyed me just as much as an adult. Most people as they get older they get smarter I feel like this one missed out on that. She ignores the friends of hers that cared the most and kept pushing them aside even at a young age for Kizuki. Then after she started dating him still no better. There was no way this girl was that dense that she couldn't tell Shuugo and Shin liked her too. Then when Kizuki after 7 years together just leaves her without a word she loses it. She breaks down and Shuugo is there to care for her but later she just acts like she takes it for granted like that was his job to do as her friend. She takes for granted all the guys except Kizuki. Even before she chose him think her subconscious already had since everyone else was expendable with their feelings. Then after everything even when he came back and all the other guys wanted to take care of her she still stupidly ran back to the man who abandoned her and has nothing to offer he since he quit his job. She is definitely not a favorite mc for me at all. In the end Shuugo and Shin deserved better than her.
