a message for bisexual women in relationships with men, because I wish someone would tell me this so I'm telling it to anyone who needs it:

your queerness is not predicated on your partner's queerness. you don't have a responsibility to seek out a relationship with a queer man to validate your identity, any more than you have to seek out a relationship with someone who's not a man. even if you're dating a man who is cis and heterosexual, you're still queer, your relationship is still queer, your attraction is still queer. (if you want it to be. this of course only applies to people who self-identify as queer and not to anyone who doesn't want to be called that.) this goes double for ace-spec and aro-spec bi women!
