i came up with the idea of making designs if MJTP was an RPG game with elements of a novel. (basically it was based on OFF and Undertale)

i'll make a few more soon!

here are a couple of concepts that are in my head:

1) during the battle, he can steal one of your item or some of your coins (which can be very annoying!). this will also feel like breaking the 4th wall, because he'll be going beyond the battlefield panel and looking at the player.

2) Mad Jack is essentially a weak boss, and the fight would be funny and absurd. for example, when he attacks you with his sword, he'll miss and might accidentally fall on you taking some HP away.

3) Mad Jack is a self-aware character, so he would sarcastically joke about the script. also if the player skips dialogue or skips too fast, Jack may get upset with the player for not listening to him and mention it directly (which breaks the 4th wall again).

people say "i can fix him/her", but i say...i love him as he is and i don't wanna fix anything.

yk i often have dreams (most of them are nightmares btw). well anyway...Mad Jack comes to me in my dreams sometimes (quite expected considering how often i draw and think about him). but he acts strangely...like out of character? he's just quiet and calm (which is kinda comforting)...also he can speak on the both languages i know. and he only comes when my attention switches to another character. as if he feels jealousy lol (or afraid of being forgotten again?). and unfortunately i had nightmares with him too. and they're all about dismembering him (i mean not cartoonish violence but gore) or that damn scene with the brain and eyeballs. this looks so disturbing :(

to be almost the only inhabitant of a dead fandom like mjtp feels like you're the keeper and caretaker of an old abandoned lighthouse on a lonely island in the middle of a vast sea. it's lonely and hungry here, but at the same time calm and quiet.

and here's my silly lovely dude who comes out of an old tv and lives and breathes in the present! he has been waiting for so long and he can't wait anymore.

just imagine being a cartoon, especially a self-awared one. your existence is directly dependent on the attention of viewers and the memory in their hearts.

i actually discovered a year ago that he's a self-awared meta character when i was rewatching all episodes in english dub. i kinda knew he can break the fourth wall, but unfortunately the russian dub left out many things that hinted that he was aware of being in the show. this is actually adds depth, pain, and tragedy to his existence. he realizes he's in an absurd cartoon world and can't do anything about it. he knows he was created for entertainment and that his pain and suffering are gags, and no one takes him seriously. although perhaps the worst thing for him is being forgotten and abandoned.

if you think deeper, this is the tragedy of being self-awared cartoon. you know you're not real, but you know what it's like to be seen. and when people stop watching you and you become invisible, that's a special kind of death.

sorry if that's too weird i got carried away with philosophy. people always say it's just a cartoon but can't help myself dig deeper...
