This is my first long form comic. So far I only dabbled into 4 panel short comics, but for the longest time I wanted to start my own webcomic (with my own story to tell) - but seriously never had the guts to start. (Imposter syndrome *sigh*) But back last december when I first watched Hazbin it sparked something inside me.

It inspired me so much, that I finally started this comic.

And I am so grateful this fandom pushed me into a new and exciting era <3

Part 25/? - "Hiding"

Two old men talking and bonding.

Hello it's me! Well this part is a bit short I know. But the last two weekends were packed with conventions and on top of that I had a nasty dentist appointment this week. *sigh* I really enjoy building up their relationship and giving Al a moment to thank Lu. I guess the cold dip into the water really cooled him down a bit as well as their little fun game :> hehe

The next 1-2 parts will be mainly dialogue and plot :> and bonding. I just like giving them both some room :) I already posted about this on Insta, but soon I will conclude the current storyline as "chapter 1". It will end with the scene S2 ended. And after that I will start "chapter 2" :) And the part counter will reset.

Chapter 2 will feature of course Lilith, Charlie angst, the rescue of Angeldust, some Huskerdusk on the side, but mainly Al and Lu navigating their new friendship, which will lead to... more. ;) Anyway, tysm for reading :>

Part 24/? - "Bad Bambi!" Alastor is being weird :D And a new prize is decided.

Part 22/? - "Play Catch!"

Al and Lu have a bit of harmless fun :) And Lu shows off his powers. What could go wrong? :> See next week what happens next! Another week, another update! I honestly got carried away. This "play fight" was supposed to be only one part long, but I was so inspired and ended up adding more and more stuff. I just really like to challenge myself and test out my own limits :D I am not used to draw elaborate backgrounds, so I was trying something more difficult :> Idk if I succeeded tho ~_~ Also wow.. 17 pages and on average one page took me 2 hours. That results in a total of ~34 working hours for this part. :O Hope you like it and have as much fun reading as I had drawing it :D I just love them being silly :D Have a wonderful weekend ! <3

Part 21/? - "Splash!"

Al discovers what invaded his bayou and things don't go so well.

I wonder how Al will react to this :D

Okay! Disclaimer here: Oh my... I did NOT could have known what kind of Lucifer merch was gonna be released. But as soon as I saw it yesterday, my jaw dropped.. and I did add the little bow to the duck floaty last minute. Because why not. I already had almost the same design by accident :S so why not commit, right? :D

Anyway! I spent way too much time on the bayou and stuff. But it's fun :>

Hey radiosnek! Hope you're doing okay :) I loved your artstyle at first glance and wondered how you ended up developing this style? Answer if you want to 🫪

HI :> Thank you! yeah I am fine. Mostly :D Aw I am so happy that you like my artstyle :) That means a lot!

But how I developed it, is a bit difficult to answer. Before I started the comic my style was more clean, more rendered and took longer to draw. Here you can see my "usual/old" style.

And for the comics sake I just embraced the more messy lines, the simpler coloring and started having fun with expressions. I am very impatient and I need to get those parts out as quick as possible :D

I know my art is not "perfect" and it's still evolving and changing constantly, but for me it just feels right and I have fun with it :D

Yes! I post on fridays, but last week I had to take a hiatus because of a convention. I simply did not have time to draw :<

Part 20/? - "Unbound"

Alastor reflects, finds a new pet and tests his restored powers.

Who does he find in his bayou? For how long was he really out? Find out in the next part :) BUT! Next week there will be NO new part! I have a convention this weekend (Hanami Con in Graz) and I really need time for the next part. I have this scene in my head since march and I am pretty excited to finally draw it :> AAAAHH - haha.

Which means: Part 21: June 19th! (or 18th depending on your timezone) :>

Part 19/? - "Trauma Bond?"

Charlie and Lu are talking, and Lu accidentally signs himself and Alastor up for therapy. Al wakes up.

Well, yeah. I had fun with Lu and his expressions and struggle :> I think he might have fried Charlies brain with all that. :D

This is a bit of an intermission part, yeah because Al totally needs a bit alone time to think. To regain himself. The next part will be Al centered and his inner thoughts and what he even remembers. :>

But don't worry, Lu is not gone for long :D

Also there might be a delay for the next part, because I am at Dokomi this weekend! I come back home sunday night and idk if I can stick to my schedule. Part 18/? - "The Escape" Lu tries to escape and succeeds for approximately 0,5 seconds.

Now Lu is trying to escape both the situation and his feelings and thoughts. But for how long? Haha! An how successful :> Also yeah, I am a tiny bit sorry that Al didn't wake up, but not really because firstly it's slow burn and secondly I have a super fun scene planned, that kind of builds on top of this. :3 But you know the drill, trust the process. Also, I got pretty sick last friday and I am still today. So I hope this part still turned out okayish - because my fever brain,.. idk.. works weird and I had to rewrite some stuff last minute, when my head was clearer again. SO YEAH. Sorry if something is off, details missing or spelling, wording mistakes. 🤧

Well as for the tagging _ I don't know how to tag more than 50 and even those don't work properly. And rn after trying for 20 minutes, I am losing my mind. So I give up. If someone has a detailed guide for my poor soul, please share! TYSM <3

Part 17/? - "Warmth"

Charlie talks with Husk about something concerning and Lu wakes up to a surprise.

Yeah, now we have a little side plot brewing with Charlie. :> And Al, yeah I guess he is a bit possessive. :3 What will Lu now do? Will Charlie knock? Will Al wake up? Who knows :D

Sidenote 1#: Husk has sooo many details in his design. Oh my Lucifer! Please forgive me if I forget some. It drove me crazy actuall :D

Sidenote 2#: Al is playing soft piano music rn without lyrics (just if someone is curious)

At this point I also want to thank everyone for your continued support :> I really appreciate the love you give me for my stupid, silly comic!

Timeline: Right after the battle: Al brings Lu home and tends to his wounds. Both fall asleep. Next morning: Lu wakes up and finds Al, Charlie barges in and Al takes off into his room and collapses. Lu fights with his conscience for the whole day and finally checks on Al in the evening. Evening/Early night: They both have their confrontation, Al has an anxiety attack (which triggers all the radios to short circuit) and Lu heals Al. They talk until they both pass out. Meanwhile Charlie runs to Husk for information on the busted radios. (Current part) Next Morning: Lu wakes up and finds,.. someone beside him. Well, this is just a short reminder how much time has passed, because honestly it's been a few months now since I started this comic and someone might be confused. :>
