Xenoemota

Xenoemota is an umbrella term for individuals who feel as though normal emotion terms don’t effectively describe how they feel. Instead of using normal terms like sad, angry, etc, an individual may use Xenoemota terms to help describe their feelings using things seemingly unrelated to emotion and feeling. Some examples of seemingly unrelated things may be nature, religious themes, animals, objects, and music.

Xenoemota is a term intended to be mainly for neurodivergent people, since some do struggle to describe their emotions as a result of their divergency. However, neurotypical may use this as it can be acknowledged that neurotypical may struggle with the same thing.

Prefix: Xemo-

Suffix: -emota

(Either can be used or both for Xenoemota terms)

Can also be called Xenoemotion

Excuse me, can I request a MUD based on Alexithymia? I would prefer it if it's called "Musically Aided Alexithymia" but if you come up with a better sounding name then feel free to use it

Symptoms are:

being unable to label any feelings that aren't big and obvious (Eg depressive & manic) but knowing they're vaguely 'sad', 'angry', 'happy' etc.

Only being able to label said feelings with songs, not that the song talks about a feeling or outright has any obvious tones other than a specific brand of 'sad', 'angry', 'happy' etc that only that song can convey

Musically Aided Alexithymia (MAA) is an MUD and a subtype of alexithymia where individuals express typical symptoms of alexithymia, but have music-related symptoms as well.

Symptoms include:

A. Being unable to label any feelings that aren't big and obvious (Eg depressive & manic) but knowing they're vaguely 'sad', 'angry', 'happy' etc.

B. Only being able to label said feelings with songs, not that the song talks about a feeling or outright has any obvious tones other than a specific brand of 'sad', 'angry', 'happy' etc that only that song can convey.

Galactic Detachment Syndrime (GDS) is an MUD where individuals feel a chronic sense of disconnection from their immediate surroundings and relationships, stemming from an overwhelming fascination with space. This detachment can manifest in various ways, impacting social relationships and emotional well-being.

Symptoms include, but are not limited to:

A. An excessive preoccupation with space-related topics to an excessive and unhealthy degree, often to the detriment of their relationships, other goals, and well-being.

B. Individuals feel disconnected from their environment and others, feeling as though their everyday life is insignificant in comparison to the vastness of space. May result in apathy regarding self-care, school, work, and relationships.

C. Excessive and maladaptive daydreams about space, which impact their day-to-day functioning.

i am a transid hoarder but this blog focuses on my transseverity (worse hallucinations/delusions, permahallucinating), and my transharmed ids (transetaprogrammed, transpolyneuroprogrammed, trisabused, trisgaslighted)

do not have a discord yet but may get one if needed.
