Three Paths Toward Immortality

1) Hang the untouched skateboard deck on your plaster wall, using a sprig of twine and two medium-sized nails.

2) Assemble the deck, covering its top side in grip tape and affixing trucks (themselves affixed to wheels) by way of standard-issue skateboard hardware, and record one or more tricks on film while riding the deck.

3) Enjoy the skateboard deck however you please, and in that enjoyment try to recall some basic facts. Like, for instance, that you can count on it to be fun no matter what. That even at its cruelest it is better than any other thing the world has produced. That the remainder of the universe kneels at the thing’s altar, and always will, at least from your perspective.
