Nolan/Vampire Reader Preview

Books and papers scattered (y/n)’s living room as she and her crush, Nolan, got ready to go over the past year’s subjects and the new year’s subjects. School may have just started, but she was determined to go over everything with him and be prepared for the year. As she got settled in to study Nolan started to speak.

“Where’s your bathroom?” Nolan asked as he stood.

(Y/n) smiled up to Nolan and pointed down the hallway, “it’s down the hall and to the right. If anyone is in there though, there is one upstairs in my room. You’re welcome to use that one!”

Nolan walked out of the living room and (y/n) went through all her papers and all her books, trying to figure out what to go over first.

“There’s math, that’s always fun,” she spoke to herself as she awaited her best friend, “but there is also english and that’s even better. Oh, the-”

She was quickly cut off by the sound of a door slamming and rushed stomping down the stairs. (Y/n) was hit by shock when she realized it was Nolan stomping, and not one of her family members. As she tried to ask what was wrong, Nolan rushed by where she sat and towards the door. What he said next was something she’d never expected.

Nolan turned towards her, with fear and anger all over his features, “I’m done with our study sessions… and well, everything else.” He walked out and slammed the door behind him. The smell of panic rolled off of him as he left and (y/n) was curious as to what she could have done.

Tears filled her eyes as she stood up, trying to figure out what just happened. Her best friend just said he didn’t want to see her anymore. (Y/n) walked towards the steps that lead upstairs and to her room, where Nolan was.

Everything seemed fine in her room, except the slightest smell of blood. She turned towards where it was coming from and she found the blood bag she had just used for her supper.

“No, no no no,” was all (y/n) could say as she picked the empty bag, that she thought she threw away, up. She wanted to scream and let out all her emotions, but felt so numb she couldn’t move. Had finally pieced together she was a vampire? Tears started to fall down her cold cheeks as she squeezed the bag. He knew and he was going to tell everyone.

It does sound like a good idea, it’s rare I see a vampire reader in a teen wolf fic. Having the pairing be with Nolan is great. It could be very cool and layered with the whole Nolan being terrified of the supernatural. You could also start it off with Nolan finding out about the supernatural through her. Maybe they had a study group and he was at her place and found her leftover blood bag from supper. He cancels everything with TR and bang the season 6b begins.
