I’m making a new post since my living situation and stuff has changed a Lot since the last one so here goes:

I moved out on my own! I live in my own place w two roommates and I have a new job that I’ve been working at a few months (and at least for now) I can work fairly regular hours. However, ive been without insurance since the end of 2018, and as a result, ive been off my needed depression medication, and being severely depressed has been making my life hell (I barely have energy to do much besides work and sleep, and I have barely been managing to eat even just one meal a day). I’ve been trying 2 find workarounds 2 make sure that I at least stay fed by picking up a bunch of protein shakes, but they are fairly expensive and I dont get paid for another week. On top of that, because I’ve had no energy to cook the past few months, I’ve tried occasionally just ordering myself food, but that is also expensive. To make a long story short, I’m trying 2 come up with $$ to get things like protein shakes+snacks that I can eat that are low effort to make/eat and/or to be able to occasionally buy food that is already made that I can eat. reblogs are appreciated, but donations to my paypal, venmo (@paladinbutch) and cashapp ($paladinbutch) r also appreciated!

Well, I got paid from.work and yet again I’m way short of my rent due 2 hours getting cut storewide. I have 2 come up with $490 by april 30th, and I need $90 of that (I only made about $400). I think there’s a really unfortunate trend in people’s thinking that like, belonging to a marginalized or oppressed group makes you an ethically better person (either generally or individually) and like that sort of moralism is really unhelpful to any discussion and also doesn’t track into reality. It also results in like, someone’s status as an oppressed person being revoked by their individual moral failings, which obviously makes no actual sense
