Filming weekend

We begun and finished filming over the weekend, staying on the location, which was a perfect fit for the film! The first day was a bit slow as we had to mesh together properly as a team and had to pinpoint exact locations for each scene, but the second day went fantastic!

We are really happy with how filming went and could not have asked for a more brilliant, talented and dedicated cast and crew, thank you all so much to everyone involved.

Next step: editing and then submit to some festivals!

This week we have...

Met with our finalised crew where we discussed the film, everyone's roles and our plans for it's look, style, tone and mood.

Looked into locations, which we have almost confirmed, as well as looking for and collecting various props and items of costume.

Completed a second draft of the screenplay.

Held auditions for the roles of Erin, Aiden and Adam. We have had fantastic actors audition for us and will be choosing over the weekend!

Tested and practiced with our camera and lenses to familiarise the crew with them and to experiment with the kind of look we want the film to have.

Stills from today's test shoots and camera practicing. This isn't the location we will shoot in, but is the one we originally scouted. We are not going with it due to it's proximity to the road and its small size, but it was a good place to practice the kind of cinematography we want the film to have, and get our crew familiar with the camera and lenses.
