Now that we've abandoned Twitter we really should be posting photos here more often- these are oldies but they make me smile

Guess who's back, back again. I seem to have gotten better at focusing the camera.

My Roommate is forcibly lending her Nikon D5100 to me. She got a new camera through work that she will be using quite a bit more and since I've never work with anything more than simple point and shoot and mobile phone cameras this is the perfect opportunity for me get some experience using her old camera.

the first photo is my first attempt at shooting my typical macro photo and the results where horrible but with some fiddling I finally got a few shots that where decent enough and at the very least focused if not a little dark.

Stills from today's test shoots and camera practicing. This isn't the location we will shoot in, but is the one we originally scouted. We are not going with it due to it's proximity to the road and its small size, but it was a good place to practice the kind of cinematography we want the film to have, and get our crew familiar with the camera and lenses.
