After that big reveal I feel SO bad for Jane and Rafael. They were ready tie the knot and live together, only to have that dream crushed. Rafael making the choice to possibly put his loving relationship on the line for Jane absolutely crushed him. And Jane has gone through SO MUCH already. She was happy again. She didn’t deserve this. It’s so unfair to Mateo. That child was living the dream! He was so happy that his parents were together and it’s been taken away from him too.

Can we talk about how far Jane and Rafael have come since season 1?

They had a beautiful conversation about Jane not wanting to be practical and teach, she wants to write. Just reminded me of season 1 Jafael when Rafael was pushing her to follow her real dream instead of focusing on teaching. 

She said he is the only thing she is sure about. Jane has never been sure about Rafael in the past because he was a risk she took (one that didn’t pay out so she was right then)

I love this couple so damn much. They are such a good pair who try to work through everything while being insanely hot. That is such a rare thing on TV.

quick thoughts on 4x09

first of all, um peep that kiss outside Raf’s apartment after Jane tells him that he doesn’t screw everything up and THAT SMILE AFTER EXCUSE DID YOU JUST HEAR ME SCREAM 

second of all, 50 shades of jane goddamn werk that whip if you know what i mean ;)

third of all, i had to replay that ending like four times because i was in a constant state of “what the fuck”. so they are keeping a secret relationship? did they just clickbait us with summaries for 4x10? gina is directing the next one and we are going to be blessed with some beautiful jafael? jane and rafael are together, secretly but still, what a time to be alive
