Update 31/Oct/2019
Dear Rafflelites,
We realise that it has been quite some time since our last update and in light of some recent notifications, we wanted to answer some questions.
Q: Will the zine be printed in hard copy?
A: No, the zine will not be printed in a hard copy.
We had contemplated the idea initially but due to shortages in resources and being busy people, we never got around to finding a printer in each of our respective countries that could carry out an order. As always, the zine is free to download as a PDF on Gumroad.
Q: What happened to the tip money I paid on Gumroad?
A: This money will be donated to the Iranian Railroad for Queer Refugees, an international charity that provides education, guidance, and food and shelter assistance to LGBT refugees while living in Turkey until they are resettled in a safe country .
Although the zine is free to download, some kind readers have given us money. Us moderators decided to make the zine freely available for accessibility reasons but also because we didn't want to worry about distributing profits amongst all the zine participants. This is the very first zine that any of us have ever helped moderate.
You can read more about the Iranian Railroad for Queer Refugees on their official website.
Q: Will there be a Knocked for Six Volume 2?
A: At present, there are no plans for a second volume.
All three moderators have been busy with their various commitments to work and study. We wouldn't want to start a second volume unless we knew we could give it the care and attention it deserved. That said, we encourage everyone in this wonderful fandom to continue making and sharing their fanworks!
Although all three moderators have been busy, we deeply appreciate the support we've received for this zine -- participators, readers, and sharers alike!
Cheers,
The Raffles Zine Team (Ernest @6utton, Leah @parchmentscrawling, River @rivergraphee)
