99% of people think these are the same aircraft... they're not.

The A-12 was actually lighter, faster, and flew slightly higher with length of 101 ft 8 in (31.0 m), while the SR-71 traded a bit of performance for a second crew member, more sensors, and much greater operational capability with length of 107 ft 5 in (32.7 m). Both did Mach 3+

Only 15 A-12s were ever built, making it one of the rarest aircraft ever created.

Atheist: Your beliefs are ridiculous. Christian: My beliefs are ridiculous? You see that house? Atheist: Yes? Christian: I think someone built that house and then the Johnson's moved in. You think there was an empty lot there and one day, all the materials for that house suddenly exploded from nothing and over billions of years those materials slowly assembled themselves, nail by nail, brick by brick, board by board, into that house. Further, you think some chemical reaction happened inside the house once it was finished building itself and the Johnson's evolved into who they are now, from ancestors who began as fish-like creatures, transitioned into ape-like creatures and eventually became human beings. Now who's beliefs are ridiculous?
