They say a dog is a man's best friend. Meebo was not just my friend but my first child. She came into my life in 2007, barely a year after me and Sadhna tied the knot and started to live in Suwon. From the first day itself, Meebo started to claim her space, not just in our house but into our hearts. Meebo showed us what it meant to love unconditionally. Affectionate and playful, and never the one to bite or trouble anyone, Meebo was clearly everyone's favorite. When Rishab was born a year later, Meebo never for a second let go of him. Playing the elder sister to perfection, Meebo was the sole reason why Rishab never felt the need for any company in Korea. In 2011, a year before we relocated to India, I introduced Meebo to Golu, a Pekingese pup we had purchased from Pohang. Meebo never understood fully why I got another dog when I already had her! In 2012, months before Saanvi was born, I had to ask my in-laws to take care of Meebo. This was not an easy decision by any means, but we chose the best home for her remaining life. Meebo lived like a queen and was truly one in a million. I don't think I will ever be able to forget Meebo till my last breath ... Meebo, you will be missed every day!
