Atlus and Studio Zero have released new information and screenshots of Catherine: Full Body, detailing the game’s “Safety” diffuclty mode, playable sub-characters downloadable content, and Stray Sheep bar.
Get the details below.
■ Three Features that Enable Everyone to Experience the Full Story
For players who are interested in the story, but are unsure about being able to clear the game’s action puzzles, Catherine: Full Body includes three features that will help you reach the ending no matter what.
The first is the easiest difficulty mode, “Safety,” in which getting a “Game Over” is impossible. In Safety mode, you can use the “Skip Feature” to skip stages you have not cleared with the press of a button, and solely enjoy the event scenes. For players who want to see the puzzles, both Safety and “Easy” modes have an “Auto-Play” feature where Vincent moves on his own during the action puzzle segments.
■ Play as Sub Characters in “Babel” and “Colosseum”
While easy difficulty options are being prepared, the game’s puzzle score and ranking competition modes “Babel” and “Colosseum” have been further enhanced for players who love an additional challenge. You will be able to play as the game’s sub characters by downloading the “Additional Playable Character Set,” which will be available on the day of the game’s release for 200 yen.

■ New Items in Colosseum
New usable items unique to Catherine: Full Body will appear in Colosseum mode. By using these items effectively, which appear on the stage at random, you might be able to turn things around in a dire situation. However, there may also be harmful items that place a curse of confusion on you, so be on guard.
■ Enjoy Babel Alone or with a Friend
In Babel mode, where you compete for score in number of steps climbed and time to reach the goal, there is a “Single” option that you can play alone and “Pair” option that you take on cooperatively with a friend. New stages will unlock as you progress through the story.
■ The Stray Sheep Bar
The Stray Sheep is the name of the bar that players can freely walk around during adventure parts. As time slowly passes, the bar’s patrons will shuffle in and out. There are also characters you might not meet and event movies you might not see if you only pass the time normally, so let loose.
Learn About Drinks!
If you sit down, you can order a drink, and in Catherine: Full Body a full lineup of wine will appear. Enjoy the world of Catherine: Full Body with all-new bits of knowledge.
Also, you can order drinks as many times as you want. And while Vincent will get drunker with each glass he empties, the drunker he gets, the faster he will be able to move in that night’s nightmare stage. Drink until you are dead drunk, then challenge the nightmare.
“Arrange” Mode Added to “Super Rapunzel”
By interacting with the arcade cabinet in the Stray Sheep, you can play “Super Rapunzel.” The game has a total of 256 stages between its “Standard” and “Arrange” modes combined.
Listen to Popular Atlus Songs in the Background
By interacting with the jukebox in the Stray Sheep, you can change the bar’s background music. You can listen to songs from Catherine: Full Body, as well as songs from other popular Atlus titles. Some of them may even be from unreleased titles!
Setting on the Toilet
Look at private erotic pictures, equip the “Nero Glasses,” or listen to the “Ideal Voices” of Catherine… the bathroom stall is where you can manage your various secret settings.
■ Characters
Erica Anderson (voiced by Junko Minagawa)
The waitress at Vincent and friends’ favorite bar, the Stray Sheep. With her smiling face and cheerful service, she is very popular among the bar’s patrons. She is also one of Vincent and friends’ high school classmates.
She is kind and caring, such as when she willingly invites Rin (a girl who lost her memory) to the Stray Sheep. While she can also have a stern attitude towards Vincent and the others when they just keep talking about affairs and nightmares, she is the most level-headed among the group of old friends.
Boss (voiced by Norio Wakamoto)
The owner of the Stray Sheep bar. He stands quietly behind the bar and listens to voices of his patrons. He came to town several weeks prior and opened the bar for some reason.
While he wears tasteful clothing, he is quite the admirer of women. Apparently even Erica is concerned about his advances. It is said that the reason he wears sunglasses all the time is to hide from his past women issues…
Trisha (voiced by Junko Minagawa)
A mysterious character who plays the role of a storyteller with no connection to the story herself… or so she says. She actually is orchestrating various events behind the scenes. She speaks to the player under several names. If you play through every inch of the game, you may be able to unravel the mystery behind her.
Catherine: Full Body is due out for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita on February 14 in Japan, and for PlayStation 4 in 2019 in the Americas and Europe. A demo is available now in Japan.

#should have done the blonde anime girl in the red plaid
you mean
yes that one exactly
wake me up inside
That first image is an edit of HUGZzz by Irene Strychalski. She’s improved tremendously in the past nine years, and you can see her current work on her tumblr, reniedraws! She has done backgrounds for Archer and Unsupervised, backgrounds and character designs for Chozen, and pencils and inks for issue #1 of Deadpool Family. She’s currently making a webcomic called Shaman Child. Here’s some of her current art:
[girl with scarf] [deadpool] [wedding commission] [hair and water]
As for the anime girl in the plaid skirt, I braved the hellscape that is early ‘00s anime websites, exploring endless gif-covered Gaia pages and vampire-filled roleplay forums, traveling across seas of unsourced DeviantArt edits and low-res hentai, to discover that she is an original character by Hiro Suzuhira. She has done work for Shuffle!, Ef: A Tale of Melodies, Akikan!, Phantom Breaker, and We Without Wings, among many others, and she is also a prolific freelance illustrator. Here are some examples of her art:
[chronicle cover] [misa] [soul eater] [higurashi] [phantom breaker] [leo]

Like. I’m a firm believer that porn online shouldn’t be within kids reach (those “are you 18” checkboxes for life) but. Like. Ok first of all, just ban cp? It’s not hard? Cp is what got you into this mess just ban it. Second of all, you could increase the age of sign-up from 13 to 18. Third of all, you could do what deviantart does and just. Require birthdays at sign-up. If your blog is flagged as nsfw, you can’t interact with minors. You want to follow an nsfw blog? Prove you’re an adult. You’re an adult but don’t want to see nsfw content? Safe search (that actually works).
It’s not hard to make a functioning website, but staff doesn’t seem to want to do that.
on the 16th let’s just have everyone posting and reblogging nsfw shit nonstop. Really make those last moments matter.

"The more we consume plastics, the more we literally consume plastic."
Excerpt:
A year after researchers at a New York university discovered microplastics present in sea salt thanks to widespread plastic pollution, researchers in South Korea set out to find out how pervasive the problem is—and found that 90 percent of salt brands commonly used in homes around the world contain the tiny pieces of plastic.
The new research, published in the journal Environmental Science & Technology, suggests that the average adult ingests about 2,000 microplastics per year due to the presence of plastics in the world’s oceans and lakes.
Examining 39 brands sold in 21 countries, researchers at Incheon National University and Greenpeace East Asia found microplastics in 36 of them. The three table salts that did not contain the substance were sold in France, Taiwan and China—but Asia overall was the site of some of the worst plastic pollution.
The study “shows us that microplastics are ubiquitous,” Sherri Mason, who conducted last year’s salt study at the State University of New York at Fredonia, told National Geographic. “It’s not a matter of if you are buying sea salt in England, you are safe.”
Greenpeace East Asia found a strong link between the level of plastic pollution in a given part of the world and the amount of microplastics people in those regions are inadvertently ingesting each year.
“The findings suggest that human ingestion of microplastics via marine products is strongly related to emissions in a given region,” Seung-Kyu Kim, a co-author of the study, told National Geographic.
Nat Geo Travel put it succinctly on Twitter: “The more we consume plastics, the more we literally consume plastics.”
“The more we consume plastics, the more we literally consume plastic.”
