Raiden And Sindel Dynamic Introduction
Raiden and Sindel's potential dynamic would add another layer for the Mortal Kombat lore. Other than the realms being respectively suffer destruction from conquest, their relationship might bring another dynamic and testament to a greater loss for the story. Raiden could be shown losing many allies accross realms he formed professional relations with, especially Edenia, being his most powerful ally. Already losing Edenia and King Jerrod is already difficult, but whats living with the worst regret or inability his Raiden's biggest fear: being not able to freed Sindel from Shao Kahn and taking care of Kitana alongside Earthrealm's warriors. On the other hand, Sindel would have to understand Raiden's circumstances deeply. And their threats aren't entirely the ones to blame. By so, their allience turned into rivalry would bring another depth that the destruction did to their realms.
In professional or realms related affairs meeting, Raiden and Sindel could exchange leadership views and perspectives. Raiden is a God that had long accustomed with Earthrealm's living pace, which he have learned how to strategize and make decisions on point in a way that it's adaptated to humans. While Sindel still abide her own Edenia living pace. Maybe Raiden could teach her how to strategize against potential threats and scheme out out solutions for Edenia affairs.
Raiden and Sindel could complement each others character's. Raiden had lived off for eons of years. The title of being Earthrealm's protector was bestowed upon him. In those times, he had grown accustomed to Earthrealm's living pace, made sacrafices and most importantly found genuine interest and love for mortals (ex: Kung Lao & Liu Kang, The Shaolins). Sindel struggles with her fate, and how Shao Kahn strips her identity. Forcing her a journey full of restraint and challange. Both of the two often met their despiseful ends (death) in every timeline. The first thing they would do upon meeting on-screen talking about their hardships of each other, having a moment of reassursnce and peace after thousand sof years, depends on the version. Either that or the two opposes again. Unfortunately, the latter is their fate, even though it was never emphasized. Both of the two can help finding each other how to ground each other.
Raiden and Sindel would have a common ground in romantic relationships, even though Sindel had it differently. As Sindel had lose Jerrod for thousand of years while Raiden never been/had a romantic feeling/relationship. Both of the two learn how to love each other, but in a different way—coming from a different past, yet still genuine and meaningful whether its new or not.
Raiden, an Immortal God that lives in Earthrealm and adapts his life because of being surrounded with humans, relies on more quicker and aggresive tactics due to need to be able to solve conflicts in Earthrealm—who humans that live shorter than him. When coming to Edenia, he feels a sense of ease, being able to slightly tolerate and understand that there are mortals who could live a quite longer lifespan than humans. This is why Raiden’s personallity and nature is aggresive and less calmer than other Gods, because he adapts to a lifestyle that didn’t align with his natural divine instincts as a God. Also when meeting Raiden, he is more calmer in Edenian’s surrounding, that’s why he feel internally safer in Edenia and clings to Sindel’s kinship.
While Raiden and Sindel prioritize their professional relationship and allience, I feel like both of the two could offer each other emotional reassurance and comfort they needed from each other due to the similarities of their hardships, such as being leaders of their respective realms, experienced conquest, and prone/demise of corruption. For an example, Sindel would seek guidance from Raiden whose an immortal God.
Both of the two saw each other in their realms. In a way, Earthrealm and Edenia has been potrayed as spiritual sisters and both equally beautiful realms. Seeing the tranquil of their realms also reminds them about each other.

Raiden and Sindel Possible Interaction in MK3
CW: MK2 (2026) Spoilers!
In MK2, King Jerrod trusted Lord Raiden to take care of Kitana incase of his loss with Shao Kahn (at the start of the movie). King Jerrod indeed died and with Sindel taken ny Shao Kahn to be forcely wed. With Shao Kahn emerging with Edenia, Kitana was under Shao Kahn's care and be part of Edenia's champions in Mortal Kombat. Meanwhile that, Kitana was still intouch with Lord Raiden and privately, occasionally visit Earthrealm once in a while, sorta becoming Raiden's spy. How Kitana able to traverse through Earthrealm from Outworld is because of a necklace given by Jerrod before his fight with Shao Kahn.
At the end of the movie, Kitana was able.to defeat and kill Shao Kahn, signaling an end in Shao Kahn's reign.
At the end of the movie, Sindel's condition remain unclear, but she was last seen alive (ressurected again and still be under Shao Kahn's influence). It could be possible if Kitana, now the Edenia's ruler, able to find Sindel again and regain her consciousness and memories back. I doubt they won't do this because it's literally her character goal in MK3 (1996). Now this wouldn't be possible without Lord Raiden's help, perhaps he possibly support Kitana at rebuilding Edenia and help Sindel.
They are only the two (seen) realm protector/leaders in the movies, it would only make sense if the two met at some point and exchanged lines of their realms.
In MK franchise Raiden and Sindel has 2 significant canon interaction.
1. Mortal Kombat: Annihiliation (1997)
In this movie, Raiden and Sindel has the most interaction. As of Sindel talks of her ressuraction and faces to Raiden directly infront of her and says "...Thunder God." and before Raiden could go and reach her (for no reason why) she whipped him off the platform she was standing. And then she goes dissapear from the scene to assist with Shao Kahn.
2. Mortal Kombat 1 (2023)
Took in Mileena's Chapter, Raiden and Sindel, but in the form of Dark Raiden and Revenant Sindel was seen cooperating in Titan Shang Tsung's defense. Both of the two fought against player Mileena and they were defested. Until then Revenant Sindel stood against all the fighters and spoke her line, referencing from MK9, "I will finish what Raiden could not!" in MK9, she was refering to Lin Kuei, but in MK1, she was refering to Raiden.
i am so sorry to ask ToT but could you recolor the dividers on this post: https://www.tumblr.com/pixopix/806188144617734144/hello-the-new-theme-is-sooo-pretty-we-love-this?source=share
with this hex code?: #00DCFF if possible, i'd like a gradient between 00DCFF and 7F00FF, but if that's not going to be possible pleaaaaase do not worry about it /genuine
thank you so much for your time and dividers, and have a good day!
Okay, so maybe adding the gradient was super, super tedious and took way, way too long to count as a simple recolor. But also they're gorgeous imo so I think it was worth it. Let's just all ignore the stray pixels shall we?
Please credit @pixopix, likes and reblogs are appreciated!
Check out the other colors! Send asks to request recolors. Hex codes are helpful!
