hey guys, i’ve been missing in action, so i’m gonna post a heads up now that i have the chance: i was house sitting, like my friend isa said, and now i’ll be going to the beach for a couple days with my family and another family. we should be back saturday, though theyre’ might be internet—i dont know for sure, but either way, i’ll likely only be lurking :o

Boy, is this was he was going to have to deal with today?

“And just what do you plan on doing with that little blade you’ve got there? Spread butter on toast? Sorry, but if that’s the only weapon you’ve got, you won’t last five minutes out here on your own. If you went after a Boomer with that thing, you’d be covered in bile in no time.”

his eyes widen && he blinks, taking another step backwards, wishing now for nothing more than DISTANCE between himself && this.... thing. how the HELL is it speaking, or being sensible in any way, && most of all, why ISN’T it attacking? Ben holds the knife out further, taking a stance as sturdily as he can.

     this  wasn’t  really  a  …  NORMAL  human  reaction  to  her  less-than-wordly  features.  either  she’s  shot  disgusted  looks  by  close-minded  people,  murmurs  exchanged  between  friends,  or  she’s  simply  IGNORED,  as  if  she’s  never  there  and  doesn’t  exist.  (  his  reaction  is  one  of  mere  AMAZEMENT,  which  is  a  rarity  in  and  of  itself.  )  ❛  ‘  whoa  ‘  what?  USE  YOUR  WORDS  ;;  we  both  speak  a  fair  amount  of  english.  ❜

he holds a finger to his lips for a moment, && then looks away, lowering said finger; his eyebrows raise as he exhales his silencing awe, deciding now on how to properly reply. would anything he could say even sound COOL or impressive? he has never really FOUND himself impressive, but maybe Ben can convince her that he is.

the boy stares, shocked, at the THING before him. it was... it was a Hunter, right? so why was he not actually attacking Ben, trying to spread the disease? JUST to be safe, the teen backs up a few paces, his hand moving to grab the handle of the only weapon he currently possesses, that being a mere dagger. HOPEFULLY, it would be enough.
