The worlds richest man is worth 151 billion dollars and is only one of over 2000 billionaires, whilst more than 3 billion people live in extreme poverty. In the UK and the US there are more empty homes than homeless people and that doesn’t even include non-residential properties. 

We easily have more than enough to meet the needs of every human and enough wealth to provide all with basic infrastructure. There aren’t “too many people” and there isn’t “not enough to go around” the problem isn’t how much we have but how we distribute it.

They are also fully capable of being both. My sisters pit was the first one to come up and curl up with you if you were laying down and would stay next you you and keep company if you were sice. He also maimed the family cat..
