“Everyone has their own rebellion.”
This line did something to my brain. This simple line completely reworked so much of my thoughts on The Rebellion.
So often we think of the Rebellion as a whole, a group, an idea. But for some, it’s an act of rebelling. It’s not The Rebellion, it’s just a rebellion.
So many people are in the fight not to fight the Empire, but to rebel against what the Empire has given them. It’s a personal mission, it’s not always about fighting oppression, sometimes it’s about proving to the world that even when people you love are gone, even when the Empire takes them, you still love them, you’ll still fight for them. That’s rebellion.
Andor is just phenomenal, that line is just phenomenal.
