Fantastic movie. Intense, uncomfortable, disturbing and tearing emotionally. I could just feel the secondhand shame coming trough the screen and felt sorry for both Sissy and Brandon. Toward the end, there was a little too much unnecessary porn. but the whole dynamic thing between Fassbender and Mulligan did pulled the movie through. Great soundtrack btw.
The Guardian interviews Steve McQueen and Michael Fassbender on "Shame". UK release 13th January 2012.
There is something so ridiculously cute about this.
If Michael Fassbender were to be nominated as Best Actor for "Shame" it woud totally make the Oscars.

Just watched "Becoming Jane". James McAvoy seems to appear in heartbreaking love stories- this and "Atonement".
