Worm the mighty Sketch

A character in Forever home that I wanted to do so much more with. Worm was on the front lines in the arcane wars Archibald and Bear fought in. After an injury took him off the field, he took up painting.

He's a warm and friendly sort of fellow. Who's favorite subject to paint is flowers. He could paint a million daffodils and never get bored of it.

There were more scars to show, but honestly the sketch turned out so good I didn't want to ruin it. Perspective shall forever be a cruel mistress I chase.

Retrospectively, I see a few issues I had in handling this character. I wanted to portray the realities of such wars. As in, no one walks away without some form of scar. But some parts were written before I designed the characters. I'd named the guy before I decided he was an amputee. In hindsight and in future. I will be calling him "Warem" because it reminds me of his friendly personality.
