Confession #01

Pablo Picasso If Picasso hadn't believed in himself cubism would never have been born and modern art would not be what it is today. It's a lesson all artist need to apply in their careers. It's more about confidence than how much people love your work. At the end of the day, it's all that matters. You could be the greatest artist of our time, but if you don't believe you are, no one will know. Do the work, push yourself onto the public and believe you have a right to be there. Prevail with perseverance and relentlessness. Time, money and lack of space or equipment is not the artists enemy, self doubt is. I have to get out of my own way all the time. Relying on others approval being my biggest downfall. I must remind myself that if I love what I do, then all I need is to do it. Things will fall into place from there.
