Reality-based motivation
If you want a life people envy, you have to do things they’re not willing to do.
Growth requires temporary discomfort. Comfort requires permanent stagnation.
If you know better and don’t do better, you’re choosing the consequences. You’re not stuck, you’re just avoiding the changes that would make you uncomfortable in the interim.
If you want better outcomes, fix the habits that keep sabotaging them.
Nothing changes until your standards do.
Your excuses might be valid, but they’re still the reason nothing is changing.
I really agree with everything here but I hope you all make sure you have a well regulated nervous system not sabotaging u every 2 seconds. Makes a big difference. Once you have mental peace while also being in touch with the messy parts of being human, only then you can achieve these goals.

Last final tmr :) still have online quizzes and practical assessments left but I'm basically done. Honestly I was exhausted from my last all nighter a day ago so didn't get much done today but I'm feeling motivated rn lol. Another all nighter and I am really hoping for an A in this one 🤞

Academia rant
Hey so idk if this is common information but back when alchemy was a thing, people wrote their notes in codes. This was to ensure their work wasn't stolen and if they made gold they would be the only one to create it basically.
Now, in current academia, I have been thinking about the gatekeeping of negative data. Not even starting with academic language. People HIDE their methods that didn't work because they are not worth publishing (?). Data is data though, and knowing what DIDN'T work could save hours of research and so much funding, especially today. Knowledge is knowledge but like alchemists speaking in codes, we still hide our findings.
I wonder when we will learn no one will make gold without exchanging knowledge.

Shaking crying and throwing up after coming face to face with NP complete proofs. (They were the last module that were taught during the last week of college that I did not attend so yeah I'm fucked.)
Day 61/120 (11/03/25)
Pre-cal, biochem lab, physics, and biochem lecture
I lowkey started tweaking out this morning because my SI was explaining how to do a problem stupidly.

The final was tough but it went well :) next one is analysis and design of algorithms and I'm kinda shaking at the though of that. Going to bed early tonight, tomorrow's gonna be a long day. Also ended up working out last night for half an hour, felt really good <3
my photo - unfinished colouring!
this is so beautiful!!!
the fact that 2026 is three months away and 2015 is going to be ten years ago…

DBMS finals tmr. Munching on snacks, going insane. I watched Tumbaad last night with my roommates instead of studying or going to bed early. I think it was worth it though 😔 It's only 7 pm, will I study more? Will I workout? We shall find out. Update: I ended up working out and I don't feel sore anymore <33
Studying a new chapter for medical terminology. Lymphatic and immune systems :) having a lot of fun with this class, despite the fact I forgot to turn in 2 assignments and my grade is now an 88%….
But we press on!
