okay, so my go is actually going to be HEBE, goddess of youth
you give off very youthful vibes to me in general but also there's something about procrastinating and the many hobbies!! I just think that's something that would be prominent in her children as they would never want to put themselves in one box!! trying new things is a huge part of "staying young." the playlist is a hint of Apollo so thats my second choice but I also think its an eternal way of telling someone you love them and for some reason gives me serious hebe vibes :)

Percy Jackson had lost track of time. Admittedly, it wasn’t hard to do when he was with Annabeth. He couldn’t count how many times had they sat at the lake at Camp Half-Blood until the sun set or woken up early to train together only to realize it was lunch.
Annabeth made time go by as if Kronos was controlling it. He could spend days on end with her and never get bored of hearing her laugh or simply watching her work.
This time was different though. He was with Annabeth but that made it much, much worse. They were falling into Tartarus. He hadn’t held onto something so tight since he was a little kid during a lightning storm. Even before he knew the gods were around he was afraid of Zeus’s wrath.
Now he was holding onto Annabeth like she was his last hope, because she was. They were each others last hope because they might die. Percy added the glimmer of hope in his head like autocorrect. Of course, they might die. They might die on their way to the grocery store and a hydra attacks, or on the way to a camp when the minotaur attacks.
The minotaur felt like so long ago and yet it had barely been four years. The flip into his new life as a demigod. He remembered being terrified that day. He never told anyone, but he was sure there had been some sort of mistake. This was too crazy for it to be real life.
He was wrong. And things would only get crazier. In hind-sight one good thing did come out of that day.
“You drool when you sleep.”
Naturally those would be the first words she said to him. Nothing else would have sufficed. She had a weird look on her face that day. Slightly annoyed that she was the one put in charge of this new arrival who had just defeated the minotaur and slightly proud for the same reason.
Percy should have run away screaming when she showed little to no interest in even being is friend. A child of Athena and a child of Poseidon being friends? Unlikely.
Thank the gods for Annabeth’s unruly determination to go on a quest because if it weren’t for it she never would have come with him. And if she hadn’t come with him there was no way he would still be standing — falling — here today.
Everything was good until Annabeth got kidnapped. Sure, they fought like their parents sometimes but other than that they were fine. They found out Luke betrayed them all and the tree which would soon become Thalia Grace was dying leading to a few quests to get to know each other better, but fine.
Until she got kidnapped. Percy had never been so panicked. It hadn’t even been two years since he had met Annabeth and the second she was no longer in the picture it felt like one of his lungs had been taken away from him. He would do anything. He would hold up the sky just to get her back. Some nights he couldn’t get the image of her holding up the sky out of his head. He hadn’t even seen her doing it in person and the image still haunted him. She was so brave. So determined that she survived something most demigods wouldn’t have.
That first kiss — the real first kiss — was so spontaneous and shocking Percy almost forgot it happened even after they started dating. She was so worried and Percy was about to go do something stupid even by his standards that she kissed him. He could remember the feeling of her lips on his like a jolt of electricity.
He didn’t mean to hurt her when it came to Rachel.
Rachel was different than Annabeth, a part of him could tell that she liked him more than a friend but he never got to that point. Maybe a small crush on her nagged him, they were similar is a lot of ways after all, but it went away the moment he saw Annabeth again.
Still, he never meant to hurt either of them — though, a small part of him felt proud he could even make a girl like Annabeth jealous, just like the ugly feelings he felt whenever she spoke about her past with Luke.
Luke. Poor Luke who fell into the clutches of a Titan. It was his choice but it still made Percy ache for a way to have got through to him. Everything he did in his first four years as a demigod was because of Luke.
There was a moment in those trials that made him realize how much he needed Annabeth. How much he really loved her. Of all people it was her who tied him to mortality when he bathed in the River Styx. He kept imagining her grey eyes looking at him. Just looking. They had a determinedly curious stare to them like they’d like to figure out exactly what makes Percy Jackson tick. Like they dared him to not come back to her. Percy was more than willing to spend his mortal life with her. She was the reason he had survived the same thing that Achilles did. It was only because of Annabeth.
And then she was almost taken from him again. A stab by which saved his life. She couldn’t have known that was where his Achilles spot was but she still jumped in front of the blade. Oh, he was so mad at her.
“No one touches her!”
He shouted at the time and meant it with every bone in his body. So long as his heart beat he would protect her like she had protected him. He didn’t think he could love her more but the love was disguised by worry she wouldn’t survive. She did though. Annabeth always survived.
The best underwater kiss of all time wouldn’t have happened if she hadn’t survived. Her intuition had saved the both of them. Like usual. As much as he sees Annabeth holding up the sky he sees her underwater just before he created the air bubble for the two of them. Her hair floating all around her and the sun shining into the lake made her look like a literal angel. It was cheesy but that’s all he could think of when he looked at her. She smiled despite holding her breath and her eyes were closed. Percy grabbed her tightly — much like he grabbed her now — and pulled her closer into his air bubble.
It was great. It was them.
Until, naturally, as all good things that happened, the goddess of marriage decided to kidnap Percy, take him across the country and wipe his memory. All his memory except for Annabeth, that is.
He supposed that if he had to thank Hera for anything it was letting him keep his memory of Annabeth, but he still didn’t think he would do so.
He remembered strolling — that wasn’t the right word considering he was carrying Juno — into Camp Jupiter for the first time with his only hope being maybe this Annabeth who he was so sure was important would be there. She would be able to help him. When no one knew who she was he had never been so disappointed.
Annabeth gave him strength before he even really know who he was. He forgot who his parents were. That big piece of himself as the son of Poseidon gone for a moment but Annabeth’s face prevailed. He would get back to her. Everything he did in Alaska was in part to be able to get back to her.
He was actually nervous for a reunion. By then he knew she would be on board the warship from Camp Half-Blood. He had his memories back and yet a small part of him thought maybe Hera made her up to make him go crazy. Maybe his memories were spliced with someone else’s.
Those thoughts washed away with the tide the moment he saw her. The moment she crashed into his arms. He was whole again.
Until, naturally, as all good things that happened, the goddess of wisdom sent her daughter on a wild chase for a giant statue in a spider’s lair.
This time though, it was Annabeth who had to leave. He hated the idea of letting her go. That little cafe in Rome felt too good to be true because it was. He couldn’t believe that was the last place he saw her smile. Just before she would have to do a solo quest. If anyone could do it it was Annabeth, but that didn’t make watching her go any easier.
The fact that she even entertained the idea that he would let her go again almost made him laugh even now as they fell. She was supposed to be the smart one. Percy held onto her hand for dear life, he knew he couldn’t just idly watch her fall into a depths created for horrifying. He didn’t even hesitate once he told Nico to meet them on the other side. His fingers still hurt from holding the two of them up but there was one thing that was for certain — it was both of them or none of them.
Too much time had been taken by goddesses and monsters.
It had always been Annabeth. He would always do anything for Annabeth. And the best part was she would do anything for him.
He looked down at her. Her eyes were closed but he didn’t think she was sleeping. Her hair flew up next to his face as the never ending fall continued. He held her closer. She couldn’t hear her sigh but he felt it on his chest. They couldn’t be closer if they tried. Percy refused to let an inch go for fear they would be separated again. Never again.
If — When — they got out of here he would never let her forget it. Never let her forget that it had always been her.
It was a long way down from where they built up to. Now they were falling together about to experience the worst fears of their life.
But at least they were together this time.
Before now Percy’s worst fear had been losing her.
