my first april weekly

this is my first time painting directly onto the journal page but i really liked it! i also obviously need to improve on my calligraphy as you can see the “happy easter” looks just a bit lopsided!

my april cover spread!

as i said before, my theme is clouds with a pastel colour scheme. instead of doing just cover pages, i like to do a whole spread to begin a month where the left side is a moodboard where i put

inspiration for spreads

photos that go with my colours

any photos that link to something happening that month

my moodboard really helps me feel inspired and excited about the upcoming month

you can do this. stop sabotaging yourself and your dreams. there will be risks, there will be stress, but go on and actually pursue what you want to do. you will not regret having tried, all things considered. self-doubt can destroy so much of your life. don’t let it, please.

it’s almost april!

this month, my theme was inspired by AmandaRachLee and her April Plan With Me video! I switched it up though and decided to use a colour scheme of pale pinks and blues.

april in my eyes is where things start to change. the sun comes out more often, everything appears brighter. april is a transition month, so i decided to use soft colours to show that change is happening, but not all at once.

this is also my first original post on rainyjournal! i’m so excited to create more and hopefully meet wonderful people who have the same passion as i do.
