What are some tips on remaining safe as a sugar baby? How do I make sure POT's/SD's are who they say they are and make the money they say they make? How do I get their real name without giving my real name? THANKS.

Screen, screen, screen. I know sometimes it’s difficult to do so but you must at least try.

First you need to figure out what name you’re going to use. Some girls find it best to use a fake name (like I do), others use their middle name or a play on their name (like they change letters around). A POT doesn’t need to know your real name anyways and most of the time they’re using a fake name too. Some girls can use their first name because it’s so common but don’t ever give a POT your last name.

Always set up a throw away email just for sugaring and also try to get a fake number, use google voice or just be sure that your carrier allows you to block numbers and change your number if needed, at will.

Always remove any exif data from your photos before sending them.

Anyways, onto the POT’s.

Ask them to send you some photos of themselves that aren’t on the website you found them on. You can have this sent to you via your fake email or through texting. Reverse search the image, see if it pops up anywhere.

Now search for his number on google and yahoo, you should scour at least the first three pages of results. If nothing comes up it’s likely he’s also using a throw-away number.

Verify the area he lives in “Hey for future visiting purposes I just want to make sure that you really do live in [insert location]” Check to see if the area code of his number matches up.

If you’ve found his name through reverse searching his photos or phone number then google his name and the area he says he lives in or works in. Also search his name in the local criminal pages.

Then verify what position/industry he’s in “So what business are you in that you’ve become so successful?” Then google the area he’s in and the position salary. You can use sites like Glassdoor for this. “Town,State Position Title Salary”

Ask him to reserve a spot at your favorite high end restaurant. When he goes up to the hostess to find out where they sat you you’ll most likely hear his real name then. If he whispers it so you don’t hear it he might be sketchy. If he insists on one particular restaurant you should also be a little on guard. He might be friends with the owner (who might look the other way or be covering for him) and up to no good.

When out on a first date with him, try to spot what card he’s using. Sicily has a Black Card. Typically black cards require: An annual membership fee, often costing hundreds of dollars or more. Programs and services not available to holders of “regular” credit cards. Available only to a select group of preferred customers. Basically black cards are fairly exclusive to people with large incomes and very high credit scores. This is the same with other prestigious credit cards which you can easily google the names of.

It never hurts to try and find out what kind of car he has, tell him the auto industry is a really big interest of yours so he doesn’t think you’re just fishing around for information. Some people will say that not all wealthy men like to spend their money on luxury cars, but every man I’ve met who didn’t at least own a 40k car was total SALT. Also try to feign more of an interest and also find out the year “Oh you have a Tesla? Which model and year? I love those!” because he can say he has a Mercedes but if it’s older than you, you’re probably going to be disappointed.

Ask him about his home: does he enjoy where he lives, what made him decide on the home he chose? If you’re feeling especially brave ask if he has any photos on his phone of it. If he says something like he has a beach front condo or an apartment, you should make note of that. Yes, sometimes really nice apartments can be very expensive but it could also be the total opposite and he might have a cheap old bachelor pad in the middle of a low-income area. Note: DO NOT AGREE TO GO BACK TO HIS APARTMENT OR HOUSE WITH HIM TO SEE IT. Just ask for photos, that’s all. If he doesn’t have any tease him about it “Maybe you can take some so next time you can show me. I’m always interested in finding out what kind of decor style my men are into.” 

At some point during the date if he’s wearing a watch, ask him to check the time. This will cause him to most likely lift up his arm so you can check out his watch. From there say something like “Oh I really love your watch! What brand is it?” and then later on google that brand’s watches and check out their prices. Most wealthy business men will invest at least a few thousand into a reliable watch.

Ask him if he’s interested at all in fashion or style then ask him where he usually shops for his clothes. Drop subtle hints about labels such as Celine, Versace, Givenchy and Chanel and make note of how he responds.

If you don’t want to go that route you could also ask him if he travels a lot for work. If he does, ask him what some of his favorite hotel chains to stay in are. Later try to find out how much it is to book a room there. You could also ask if he flies first class, however some companies provide first class flights for free so you might also want to ask if his company books his flights/rooms for him.

Check out his clothes, if his suit jacket is ill fitted that could be a bad sign. He might have borrowed it or just bought something cheap from a local department store. See if you recognize any of the logos on his clothing, tie, shoes, sunglasses or cufflinks. If he’s wearing what looks like an average T-Shirt and Jeans tell him you really like the cut and ask him what brand they are. Sicily sometimes wears what seems like casual T-Shirts but they’re often each $100 or more.

Obviously, stay in a public, busy and well-lit area. Don’t hesitate to pardon yourself to the bathroom to text a friend for help or call the restaurant you’re in to ask an employee to come to the bathroom and then walk you out of the restaurant if you don’t feel safe with him. Honestly if you’re really fed up with him at this point then just let him know that you just think you’re on two different pages but that you hope he finds what he’s looking for, then flag down a waiter and ask her to walk you out.

Don’t agree on going back to his place after EVER under any circumstance. Don’t let him walk you to his car for a “gift”, ask him to bring it in the restaurant if he has one. Don’t let him walk with you anywhere after dark or in a secluded area. Leave promptly when the date is over, take a different road home just in case. Set up a second date if you like him and take things from there. Always make sure you get your allowance and have it somewhere safe before engaging in anything intimate and don’t ever let him tell you that he‘ll pay you later or that he “wired” it and it’ll take a few hours/days to pend. Make sure the money is safe and in your possession in such a way that it can’t be refunded back to him.
