Earthbound/Mother2 Kids as Fantasy RPG Classes

Recently beat Earthbound for the first time on my SNES classic. I always got so close as a kid, but never could do it…

Ness is a Paladin - High Attack and HP, but really slow. Mostly uses curative or protective magic, and has some status effecting spells. Only offensive spell deals high damage, but is quite costly (Holy). Wields a variety of Clubs and Maces.

Paula is a Black Mage - Low Attack and HP, but has devastating offensive spells and high MP. Other spells include various buffs to teammates. ls also really fast. Wields Hammers (a flat, metal surface). -Sub ability - Recall: casts a random spell that effects either all foes or all allies.

Jeff is a Machinist - Stats are below average, and cannot us Magic. However, he makes up for this with a variety of tools with many effects that either buff allies, debuff foes, or deal massive damage. -Sub ability - Analyze: check an opponents stats and weaknesses.

Poo is a Red Mage - Relatively above average stats, with High Attack but low MP. Uses both Black and White Magic, but isn’t as effective. Very versatile member. -Sub ability - Morph: become an enemy
