No closure. No explanation. No kindness spent on the way out. He had simply vanished.

The room smelled like polished oak and nostalgia. Hogwarts hadn’t changed much. The Great Hall still glowed with floating candles and too-bright memories, the enchanted ceiling mirroring the star-flecked night above. It had been fifteen years since the Battle of Hogwarts, and tonight was the reunion no one thought they’d ever actually attend.

Voldemort gave Draco Malfoy a task, but it wasn't killing Dumbledore. In the summer before sixth year, a reluctant Draco appeared in Hermione Granger's muggle suburb to offer her the only thing he could: a warning.
The story of how two sworn enemies learned of something far more powerful than hatred...devotion.
After the war, Hermione returns to Hogwarts to rebuild her life—haunted by the memory of parents who died without remembering her. Draco comes back under Ministry orders, bitter and broken. Forced proximity, lingering trauma, and a slow unraveling of everything they thought they knew leads to an unexpected truth: sometimes, love grows from ruin.

Rise and Fall Chapter 24
They stepped into the villa without a word, the last flickers of the enchanted lanterns still glowing against the skin of Hermione’s bare shoulder as she crossed the threshold. Her gown trailed behind her, kissed with grains of sand from the cliffside.
Draco watched her move through the dim light—his wife, finally.
Wife.
He shut the door slowly behind them, his chest aching with the fullness of the word.
She turned to face him in the center of the room, barefoot on the stone floor, the gold-and-emerald braid in her hair catching the light of the moon. Her eyes shimmered, wide and soft, and when she reached for him, Draco crossed the space in three strides.
His mouth met hers with reverence. Starved. His hands were already on her waist, sliding up the folds of silk and down the curve of her spine, memorizing every line that had already been carved into his soul.
Harry… Is it me or do Draco and Mummy look like two people who don’t want to be followed?
Happy (Draco finally had the guts to kiss Hermione) Valentine’s day~ 💕✨
