Alex pulled up a chair with a snap of his fingers.

"Looks that way doesn’t it? Well, I guess this is as good a time as any for you to show me if their fear of you is justified…"

Glancing up, he noticed a rather significant cloud of black smoke above them. Curious as to why they’d come without already obtaining a vessel, he concluded they must be intending to give Fiore as few bodies to control as possible, and simply replace their allies in the meatsuits should they succumb to her command.

If it weren’t such a scary prospect, he’d have been impressed at the tactical decisions being made.

She gave him a wide eyed stare before they narrowed to aggravated slits. "You're next." 

Obviously, this was a twisted kind of test. He had come to witness whatever abilities she possessed and, if performed to his liking, would then offer her something. Answers? A way out? An invitation to meeting people just like her...? 

Fiore wasn't having any of it.

She sliced a line along the back of her palm, seeing which demon would react to it first. Weak willed, pathetic creatures that sat at the lowest hierarchy. They didn't make for good weapons, but if she could get enough...

Only three zipped towards her, swirling in clouds of nebulous black around her. Her hand shot out and gave an impatient squeeze to the space between them, watching as they formed together to make a spear. "It'll have to do. Whose first?"
