We have another purple swordsperson for today's Sunday Best, my custom Knight tabard from Chivalry: Medieval Warfare. I played Vanguard on teams, but when I wanted to play free-for-all I ran the Knight. This game had incredible taunts, all goofy, period-appropriate cusses. "YOU are a MAN. of. WAX!"
Today's Sunday Best is my Vira setup from Granblue Fantasy Versus. For a while I found myself picking "woman who is unwell but she has a big sword" in a lot of games & I never looked to deeply into that. Vira is an homosexual dynamo, when I play I just want to send people to "The Yandere Dimension".
It's Sunday Best day and today I've got my Monster Hunter. Me & my friend Isaac would play together, he was on Hunting Horn and I was on Bow, and we'd just go through & stunlock all the monsters on a map. At the end of a run we'd say, "Another Savage Boys Production" like how a Shaw Bros film ends.
For this week's Sunday Best I've drawn my favorite Nightreign character, the Revenant. I loved running Giant's Flame builds, I got a balance of relics that still gave affinity if I couldn't find a flame seal in a run. I dropped O' Flame & ran Flaming Strike on my Rev Claw so I could do K` fireballs.
Happy Sunday! Today I've drawn my palette pick for Rera, from Samurai Shodown V Special. This was one of the first fighting games I tried to really learn in earnest, and I picked Rera because she has a mechanic where she hops on & rides a wolf, and her moveset changes whether she's on or off. Yeah!
This week's Sunday Best is my vampirate from Sea of Thieves. This is one of those one-of-a-kind games nothing else really replicates. The feeling of sailing on a rolling, stormy sea is unparalleled. I loved it, but as fond as I am of it, today it's part of the BDS boycott target, so I put it down.
Today's Sunday Best is a formative one. My first local fighting game tournament was New England's Smash 4 scene. By the grace of fortune, I made a lot of lifelong friends coming out & losing over & over in one of the strongest scenes in the world, and I still cherish those friendships to this day.
It's Monday, and I still owe you a Sunday Best, so let's square that up. This week's outfit belongs to V from my playthrough of Cyberpunk 2077. There's a particular piece of iron in this game- you might know the one- it's one of the most stylish and fun-feeling weapon animations I've ever had. Yeah!

This week's Sunday Best feature is my Latch color pick on Lethal League Blaze. I've always really liked the kind of rising tension a game of Lethal League puts out, with the ball accelerating faster & faster, and the way time seems to hang when a player lands an enormous hit. It captures speed well.
It's Sunday again! Today I've drawn my little Imp creature from Atlyss. This is one of the zippiest, zoomiest games I've played in a while, the movement is real big & if you can ride the wave you can do a lot with fairly simple controls. I love sharks & devil people; Atlyss's critter maker delivers.
Back on the Sunday Best beat, today I've got my guy from Red Dead Redemption 1 multiplayer. This was from around my GTA4 Free Roam era, I liked the more structured multiplayer games. Every round started with ~32? players in a big circle & everyone'd quickdraw all at once before the game would begin.
In honor of May 5th, this week's illustration is for my Guilty Gear main, May. I had a tradition in Xrd where, after a long set, I'd use Figure Mode to set up a selfie with the friend I battled with, trying to make the camera look like May is holding her phone. I carried this tradition on to Strive.
Today's Sunday Best feature is Wei Shen from my playthrough of Sleeping Dogs. For my money this was one of the best GTA-style open world crime guy games ever made, the combat system is fluid & the radio stations are immaculate. I had a big hoodie much of the game but by the end it was Tank Top Time.
Let's go way back for today's Sunday Best. We played Bomberman 64 multi all the time as kids. If you mashed start on the title screen you unlocked all the custom stuff, that's where I got real good at "the mash vibration method." Anyways, this was my guy: some kinda robot bomber, but with sneakers.
Sunday Best is back, and today I've got my Splatoon 3 Octoling for you. I was an honest worker & I ran an honest loadout: the .54 Gal kit with the deployable splash wall. Some of the weapons in this game were very evil. I'd roll out to mid, put up the screen & handle the dirty business for my team.
For today's Sunday Best I'd like to share my GTA4 lady. Way back then a friend & I would hop online and join Free Roam lobbies to hunt bigots. This was Xbox so it was hot mics & slurs abound, so if we found someone bleating pejoratives we'd look for their names, lecture them on mic & blow them away over and over and over again until they quit the lobby.
