I love being the bait for my palico.

I suck at hunting monsters, but my cat always comes in with the steel chair.

I get to witness my cat break parts, stun the monster, slice off the tail, knock the monster out the sky, and even get in the final hit.

The palico is the hunter‘s assistant/companion? No. The hunter is the palico‘s assistant/companion.

Changed my Palico to look like my soon to be cat (if I can persuade my parents, hopefully he’s coming this weekend so wish me luck on begging my dad to let me have him.) His name is Howl based on Howl’s moving castle. And so since I’ll have a cat, I wanted to change my original palico (Icarus) into Howl.

This is Amber, she's a character from a Monster Hunter fic of mine. She's in her seventies, and she's very grumpy. She's also a very good hunter in her own right, not just a palico. Prowler, one might say. She may be past her prime, but she can still solo most of the usual high rank quests.
