*clears throat* Special people are hard to come by and God blessed me with the most special person in the world. My best friend is the most intelligent, caring, loving, sophistiratchet, fun, hilarious, determined, hard-working, inspiring girl ever. Saying that I'm proud of her is an understatement. I've been able to be apart of her life for years and I'm so I've been here to see her accomplish all her dreams and goals. She was able to graduate in 4 years with SEVERAL awards and honors for her work in the African American and African Diaspora Studies department. She is truly an inspiration to me and pushes me to reach past the stars through pain, trouble and unforeseen circumstances to achieve my goals. Although starting this fall she'll be several states away from me at COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY, I know she'll be killing it and making her mark here on earth.
