The Hypnotizing Beauty Of Iranian Mosque Ceilings
Doesn’t look real, so pretty
Painted Skies: Panoramic photo taken in Vermont during my vacation back in September. Earlier in the day it was storming, so glad that it had dried out just enough for me to pop outside to take a photo of that gorgeous sunset. Larger version is on Flickr - SN is xbluerosenx.
The Huddle: I was pretty sure these guys were devising a plan on which car to go to for food. The Arabian camels [the one hump ones] are also called dromedary’s they’re massive but all of them were very gentle and mellow. Wish we had brought more celery with us. Original, larger photo is on Flickr - my SN is xbluerosenx there.
Calling it on the prowl, was mostly messing around taking pictures of my friend’s boyfriends cat; Charlie.
photo taken of my friends cat, Meta during my trip to Vermont, photo is also on my flickr account which is xbluerosenx [anyone surprised by this?]
The Watering Hole. Taken back in September at Parc Safari in Canada. To see a larger version of this, go to flickr!
Another manip i did of one of my characters. Princess Dara of Atlantis - playby is Katherine Barrell for http://choiceswemade.jcink.net/ > A Marvel Site
Manips of my character Princess Dara of Atlantis on Choices We Made (A Marvel RPG) using Katherine Barrell as a playby! http://choiceswemade.jcink.net/ come join the fun!
Mentioned the rhea’s at Parc Safari before - this was the one that came running for celery sticks.
More photos from Parc Safari, two of the lions had a birthday recently and that was part of the drawing. It was really neat being able to walk through tunnels and getting different views them and the tiger too.
So this guy was really persistent for the celery, all the rhea’s were at Parc Safari. We were feeding some of the camels (both Asian and Arabian) and I turned my head and one was practically running towards us. It wasn’t this guy here, but they were pretty awesome!
Panorama of the sunset in Vermont of of Lake Champlain - Was so glad it stopped raining and it was dry out to take a couple pictures of that sunset!
Been a while since I’ve posted on Tumblr, but might as well get back into it with some photos I had taken! This was taken at Parc Safari during my trip to Vermont in September! Really great place to go, even more so during the off season :)

If you’ve ever been to Florence, Italy (a.k.a. my heart/home-base), you know how breathtaking it is to walk through these streets and to enter in these museums. The history. The art. The culture. The beauty. How does it all remain intact? Restoration and preservation, that’s how.
Brunelleschi’s Pazzi Chapel is a masterpiece of Renaissance architecture in Florence, Italy and it’s loggiarequires urgent restoration:
"The Pazzi Chapel is a landmark of Renaissance architecture in Florence, Italy. Located in theSanta Croce church complex, the structure was designed by Filippo Brunelleschi – the master architect who is most famous for engineering Florence’s beloved cathedral dome. The loggia in front of the Pazzi Chapel is a prime example of 15th-century architectural decoration in grey pietra serena sandstone, colourful maiolica and terracotta.
550 years have taken their toll on this structure and its decoration. The loggia of the Pazzi Chapel requires urgent restoration to stop further deterioration. Opera di Santa Croce, the non-profit institution in charge of the church’s administration, has raised 50% of the funds needed to carry out this restoration, slated to begin in early 2015. Your support of the loggia’s restoration will help to raise the remaining amount. In so doing, you will become part of the 720-year-long history of Santa Croce.”
There’s only 13 days left to raise 95K for this restoration, and we need your help to achieve this goal. Please, support the cause by reblogging, tweeting, sharing, liking or even donating- the smallest amount helps, and your name will go down in the history books at Santa Croce!
