Nathaniel couldn’t believe how soft Abbott’s lips felt against his - teal lipstick smearing onto them. His arms wrapped around the taller man’s neck. A pleasant warmth spreading across his body; kinda like drinking soup after going through a blizzard. All of it honestly started to make him feel dizzy. Abbott broke the kiss, looking at Nathaniel with a slightly concerned look. “You okay?” He asked. Nathaniel was silent for a moment, his brain rebooting itself. “Y-yeah-“ he stammered “Just…lost my breath there for a second there”. Abbott chuckled “Yeah, you were pretty into it”.

“Shut your damn mouth” Nathaniel shot back hastily, but his words were weak. His knees feeling like jelly. “What’s wrong? Upset that I can kiss better than you~?” Abbott teased him. “I said shut your damn mouth” Nathaniel repeated, smashing his lips into his as a petty way to shut him up. And Abbott reciprocated. But before things could get too heated, Abbott’s phone rang. Breaking the moment. Nathaniel let out a sigh of disappointment when Abbott de-tangled himself from him. The teal feathery scarf around his neck puffed out in annoyance as he picked up the phone. Talking in quick succession before hanging up. “Sorry, I have to go” Abbott said, leaning in to kiss Nathaniel on the cheek. Leaving behind a bright teal lipstick mark.

A same shade as his sparkly eyeshadow. Nathaniel didn’t want him to go, he didn’t want him to leave. “Just 5 more minutes…?” He whined, giving Abbott those big wet puppy eyes. Abbott chuckled “You really want me that badly?” Reaching out to gently grip Nathaniel’s chin - his heart pounding out of his chest. His mouth went dry. His tongue feeling thick inside of his mouth. “I’ll take that as a yes~” Abbott teased, leaning in to kiss Nathaniel again.

A Drabble for @thepromptfoundry’s Aug-UST prompt: Only One Bed 🛌🐈

SwanEar had to get used to a lot of things when she became a kittypet. Feeding schedules, boxes of strange looking sand for making dirt, weird colorful objects that Mini’s two-leg gave her, and all the new sights and smells that came with it. But what caught her off guard the most was the fact that she could sleep pretty much anywhere in the two-leg den. Sure, some cats might say that the warriors den in Birch-Clan can get a little cramped. But that den was like a mouse tunnel compared to the places that she could make her nest. It was honestly overwhelming at times during her first few days here; but she slowly grew accustomed to it.

But Mini always seemed to prefer to sleep in her two-leg’s nest. SwanEar didn’t question why, she knew that Mini was close with her two-leg. She knew him ever since she was a kitten after all. SwanEar peaked her head into the den. Her feathery ears perking up at the sound of soft snoring from the gigantic white nest where Mini and her two-leg were lying and sleeping. Mini was curled into a small calico ball. Her bushy tail draped over her pink nose. Peaceful as she could be. But SwanEar felt hesitant.

She was raised to be careful around two-leg’s. Her father saying that they were too dangerous and unpredictable to fully trust, and with everything that has happened in the last year. She had every reason to be wary of them at the very least. But the nesting material looked like freshly fallen snow. Soft and warm like rabbits fur. It was tempting. And talking a tenitive pawstep forward, she walked towards the white nest. Crouching down at the edge of it and springing upwards. Making no noise as she landed on it.

Stalking towards her mate and curled her bigger body around Mini’s. Feeling her purring vibrating through her. SwanEar’s tail draping over her back.
